I collected my 992 a few days ago and ever since having been driving around on dipped headlight setting. Most traffic has been on daytime running. It would appear that unlike the 991.2 it is not possible to override the auto headlight switch unless the car is stationary. The handbook is quite vague on this point
There is a dipped headlight switch however pushing this has no effect so must be overridden by the auto function. Anyone found a
work around to manually control headlights?

In a year I have not found anyway and god knows I have tried .... frankly (maybe its just me ) it drives me nuts not having this control over the lights.

I think you can turn the auto lights off, it is red when on, then push the buttons manually, the auto light button is hidden behind the wheel when I’m driving.
