Porsche should offer more carbon options via P Exclusive.

Make it look a bit more special.

I'm happy to be corrected but my understanding is that the 'engineering challenges' revolved around the desire for space for a golf bag in the 'frunk' and little else (aside from cost saving).

Many normal cars have had double wishbones for 30+ years, but because Porsche have now done it, only now is it a good idea. rolleyes
This is what Porsche does best though telling you they are the best.

That front end with the new vents up fronts looks epic, and that rear spoiler (now finished) does not look out of place at all.

There’s going to be a bun fight over these

According to OPC's, the same old names will not get them.

Confirmed I can have one on 1st call to dealer. No history with them an no need to buy anything else.

Dealer is in California 😃. Wont even bother asking in the UK.

If they really want to stop flipping come out and say they will make as many as required, open the order book now and build inventory to the demand.

I'll believe it when I see it! They're not going to turn away a good repeat customer in this climate.

Are you the guy that Chris Harris was talking about in the podcast?

Just wondering...
I thought he might be referring to ‘cmoose’ when that came up...

Be lovely to see the new 992 gt3 on the Porsche configuration site open for all to order one if they want one.

Flipping is not good for the Porsche gt brand in my opinion. Christ there’s a poster on here who thinks anything over 3k miles a year is high mileage for a modern day Porsche GT car and these 3k plus miles a year cars not wanted.

Say it all really.

Hats of to Porsches GT department their cars just keep getting better. I didn’t like it at first but I have to say this could be the best looking non Porcshe gt car to date, and the blue looks stunning.

why ? it's works a treat and sell more cars with ZERO advertising.

Rolex have been doing it for years the rare stuff is 3x retail.

Both money machines.

I agree it will be a high revving banshee. Utterly pointless on the road with meaningful torque too high in the rev range and lots of noise , bone shaking ride, and all the better for it. I'd still buy the yellow 996 GT3 in the classifieds with 20k miles to go with this though. SWMBO can use this at track days and I'll take the old timer GT3 smile

Yup it is quite clear that flipping is the ultimate free brand ambassador for Porsche and excellent for the brand overall.

Otherwise they would have stamped it out by now. Quite easy to do if they wanted to.

The 981 GT4 Press articles in 2015 on premiums ££ and with many OPCs getting c 70 lois or more with many entitled folks throwing their toys out of the pram following the bunfight was the icing on the big branding cake as far as P was concerned.

Slightly different times now of course but the 992 GT3 will be no different that much is guaranteed.

I wouldn’t say Porsche do zero advertising and I definitely wouldn’t say Rolex do zero advertising, they sponsor a hell of a lot of sporting events across the world!

In my book cars are for driving and enjoying, making a little tax free money is an added bonus, but shouldn’t be the driving force to buying a drivers car.

My ears pricked up when the guy mentioned an RS in PTS San Marino Blue in the P Museum. Stunning BMW colour that I had on my M3CS, the metalic changes in all light and liquid when its wet.Searched and found this .2 GT3 painted in it, graphite wheels would suit it better imo.

Supposedly only one painted in this colour and is in the US.

Freeze the vid at the beginning to see the colour pop in the sun

?

Do you ever post about driving and enjoying cars? I only seem to recall posts about values.
