I was tempted to go lightweight, seats, glass, roof etc... because a build slot for a gt3 was never going to happen!!

so I understand why people go this way... I'm getting older and a little more boring I guess, so I took the Victor Meldrew route

absolutely perfect spec, the lw pack is well worth it.

Given the performance of these cars if you’re really going to drive these cars aggressively/track them I’d say the buckets are something that would really add to the driving experience....and if you were taking the car on track be a massive plus. All about how you use it !

Thanks for the positive comments guys! I picked it up earlier on and I’m super impressed so far even with doing minimal miles.

I will definitely have a go on track in this (this was the plan along as a stop gap)but I have a GT3 arriving next month now and that will end up being first choice for track work obviously! I wasn’t expecting the GT3 (I thought I was getting a later allocation) to come this close to the Turbo S, as the TS arrived late and now the GT3 allocation coming early it’s all happening together!

Why spec the the turbo with buckets if you are getting a gt3, it seems pretty pointless to me !

Because initially there was going to be a year in-between cars.

I would of still spec’d the buckets anyway as I prefer them. I don’t use any sporty cars as a daily or mile cruncher. I have the latest Vogue and that ticks the boxes for me for business, comfort and as a daily.

Ordered a Turbo S Cab in Feb, all I know is delivery will be next year. The chip shortage makes me wonder if it will be later in the year rather than earlier.

Ordered mine sept 2020 and looks like I won’t see it until late 2022 !!
Might cancel as recently bought a GT2 rs.

What option did you tick to get that finish on those wheels? - can’t see that on the configurator


Also does anyone have an inkling as to when/if PTS will be available on the Turbo S ?

You can have PTS as far as I'm aware and its increased to £8k ish from memory in price and adds to wait time. Shark Blue just been added to colour chart looks brill. The carbon roof looks stunning on the black one above too. I specced one of these for fun. Very tempting. Mine came to £193K! Boulevard cab spec not even going for any of the cool lw, aerokit or carbon stuff. Stunning piece of kit. I can't see how they improve but they will

They are only available in-conjunction with the sport package. 10k option that includes the aero package, carbon roof/ mirrors and a few other bits.

lightweight package saves 30kg, that's 600% more weight saving than the "focused" 911 T which everyone rave around

worth every penny imo!
