lightweight package saves 30kg, that's 600% more weight saving than the "focused" 911 T which everyone rave around
worth every penny imo!
Looking at the 18way memory heated massaging cooling seats - I’m surprised it’s only 30kg. worth every penny imo!
People don’t realise just how heavy seats are. I’ve got my old 944 seats as office chairs and they weigh a ton, and they have had the motors removed.
Shame the wheels aren’t available without the sport pack. I’m not a fan of the twin blade rear spoiler.
If I’m honest I’m not a fan of the normal turbo spoiler either - much prefer the clean lines of a spoilerless 911

Porsche quote the saving as more than 30kg so who knows what the true figure is, we all know how conservative they are- the rear seats must weigh at least 10-15kg for the pair...worth every penny imo!
Here is the official blurb-
Includes:
- Lightweight and noise cancelling glazing
- reduced insulation
- Full bucket seats
- PASM Sport Suspension (-10 mm)
- Sports exhaust system with tailpipes in Black (high-gloss)
Note: reduced vehicle weight over 30 kg. Offer only for Coupé models and with leather equipment in Black. In conjunction with this option, the rear seat system, quilted seat centres and door panel trims are omitted.

can absolutely imagine it's more than 30kg, great value for money imoHere is the official blurb-

Love the one above
I'd really quite like one of these, but 240k is a lot of money / lots of other options at that price .... I don't want it that much, still speccing it is fun - mine would look like this.

I had the lower -10mm on both my 992 Cab and Coupe S, both cars came on Pzero. First time I drove the the coupe it felt bouncy on some roads. So following morning dropped the pressures down to 31 -33 Cold. This transformed the car, you may need to re tech the sensors. Same for the Turbo S with lower Sports suspension, I would say on the Turbo S it improves the ride even better than the C2s, it’s still firm and lower stance etc, but the lower Psi’s go a long way to stop it feeling “bouncy” on some roads. I don’t get any warnings going off with the above PSis
I dropped my tyre pressures on my new -10mm Turbo S to 31psi/33psi yesterday and it has made the ride much less crashy and much more comfortable.I would recommend doing this 100%
Hi all, it’s been many many years since I last posted but hope someone can help and apologies if it’s already been covered….does anyone knows of any available 992 turbo s build slots for this year or advice on how I would go about finding one? Should I just be calling as many dealerships as possible?
The earliest estimated date I have been told so far is mid 2022.

Well, I got an introduction from someone in Feb to a salesperson from a large not quite local Porsche dealership with the hope I'd get a little help up the ladder to a Turbo S Cab. The salesperson told me categorically it was a 2-year waiting list and they are not taking any more orders and it would be the same where ever you go.
A week or so later found me playing with the configurator and when I'd finished there is an option to send it to your local dealer. So I thought what the heck let's send it to my localist dealer, not the one I spoke to, expecting to get the same, no can do, answer back by email. The next day I get an email saying they could take my order they had just got two more allocations. I dropped £10k and bingo, I only had to wait a year but at least I know I am getting one.
Maybe spend a few hours pinging configs off to a host of dealers?

I am amazed demand for these is so high - I specced one for fun and ended up at c 240k (euros) - so expensive.
Saw a white one on the autobahn - good looking car without a doubt. Would love one if I could afford it.
Just checked for Turbos (2 normal coupes for sale, 212 and 243k) and saw this - suddenly a new Turbo S seems decent value for money.

I wonder if they will let me order a LHD car once I am back in London. I would accept a longer delivery time as they actively discourage it, but would be interested if they will refuse / just not give me even a late build slot. Now that exporting a car is no longer possible without additional expense (negating the order in UK and sell on the continent trade), maybe they take a more relaxed view than pre-brexit.

Why spec the the turbo with buckets if you are getting a gt3, it seems pretty pointless to me !
Because initially there was going to be a year in-between cars. I would of still spec’d the buckets anyway as I prefer them. I don’t use any sporty cars as a daily or mile cruncher. I have the latest Vogue and that ticks the boxes for me for business, comfort and as a daily.
