We have a couple of spare bedrooms at home so that’s something else not being used for the purpose it was designed or to their full potential.

I’m not sure that works as an example, as what you have is the equivalent of a 4 seat car but only ever use two of the seats, although you could carry some extra guests if you need to.

If we continue down the property cul de sac rolleyes it would be more like you buying a highly desirable property that loads of people wanted and then being proud of the fact that you’ve never used it, never let it out etc. Don’t expect a round of applause from those who wanted to buy it and live in it.

Personally I don’t understand why anyone would buy a car and then deliberately not use it (I understand there can be extenuating circumstances and I’m not aiming this at Juno). If a GT3 is your motoring nirvana then buy it and enjoy those miles (they might be cheaper than you think), spending say £150k on something that you polish, insure, maintain and maybe drive for 10-20 hours a year seems like a waste, or even a punishment.

If I had one it would be getting 8-10k miles a year put on it, it’s not like I’m saving it for the next owner.

Totally agree.

I venture out a lot in mine and I hardly ever see them out and about.

Sorry to hear you had to sell your RS for financial reasons. Good job it was worth serious overs and you had only taken it round the block a couple of times.
Crikey you took a long time to eat your Easter Eggs

Would you like the details on the 2 GT3’s I bought used from my dealer at over list and the mileages covered? while your at it is there anything else in my life you’d like to know about so you can evaluate how much I’ve made or lost and whether I was worthy to buy the goods

Or

Have you finally realised you’ve reached the point where you have realised it’s got Ethel all to do with you and nobody cares what you think roflroflrofl

Sad sad people

Nothing wrong , as I said I have a mate who has only done 350 miles in his Touring as he does not like the ride quality . But he gets immense joy from the ownership of the car and we talk at length about Porsches .....
He just likes owning one but not driving it .
Some of the most desirable Porsches are owned by similarly minded people .I know some of the most collectable , famous race Porsches are owned as investments by People that do not even have a race license , but they really enjoy owning the cars
Others like to use them

I get collecting iconic race cars if that floats your boat but 350 miles on a touring?. In my book it’s a waste, but, yes, it’s his money.

Such fantastic cars to drive out and about in the sun. Look at them and polish them, I use to do that when I owned a Escort RS Turbo back in the day and looking back I damn well know I didn’t enjoy it like I should have.

Tell yu buddy to buy a crap load of cushions, haha wink;

I got a simple question requiring just a yes or no answer as it doesn't warrant a new thread.

Will a JCR cat delete throw the check light.Thanks.

Why does every Porsche thread descend into malice and spiteful comments. To put things in perspective there is a very popular farming forum which i used to read sometimes out of sheer boredom but never joined myself..
I only knew the real identities of three of the regular posters which live within 25 miles of me. None of these three have made any comments in the last couple of years. Why you may ask.?
Well one of them constantly made fun of others and received a lifetime ban, quite rightly IMO. What about the other two.? Well one ate a whole pack of rat poison which rotted his intestines until he died. His two teenage sons found him.
The other shot himself in the chest with a 12 bore and died after four hours of excruating agony. His 16 year old daughter found him when she went looking for him after returning from school.
Its not a story i ever recite but the way P'heads is going i felt it very appropriate..

Yes No Maybe (depending on how much bad stuff the sensors detect without cats and if its out of the ECU’s range I guess)

Hope that helps

It’s a Cesspit Taffy,I was ridiculed on here as delusional that I thought I would get an RS

I got one,now they can’t wait to chase me out of town because I only owned it for 17 months

It’s the same as the scenario you explained except I’m not going to shoot myself or eat rat poison on their behalf

In comparison I joined a Facebook Lotus group 2 days ago to post about the new car snd ask some questions. I’ve had 612 likes and 121 helpful and welcoming responses, what a difference and speaks volumes about some on here!

My friend I invite you over the McLaren sub section...

The Porsche section is tame compared to some of the cretins you find over there, fortunately most have been banned now but some are still around.

Juno you do you and fk everyone else biggrin

Footage of a GT3 including start up and pulling away at low revs. Noticeable difference to the old car.

That’s alright... I’ve got a JCR system waiting to be fitted.. then it’ll sound better than a .2GT3!

991.2 values, through the roof now

Stick them away, do not drive them, only get them out to polish and clean, haha
