I have had a call from my dealer today, my spec needs to be in asap, latest very early next week.... for a July build.

I haven't seen a car in the flesh and wouldn't mind seeing one before I have to lock in.
How many of you guys have taken delivery yet?
Does anyone know where there is a car to see?
I'm near to Silverstone and will be calling the experience centre to see if they have a car I can see....

All first world problems I know!
Don't think I'm going PCCB this time, or front lift...
Will be a club sport car and will be used on track.

I am doing a trackday with RMA Goodwood Monday if anyone is going with one......

Not sure how you can miss it .
I'm assuming it's covered by the speed limit display - would that be the case?

Or is it lower down, next to the time, as on the GT3 in this manual grab?

FWIW i'm finding this new 992GT3 more appealing without too many options. Hypothetically if i was getting one i'd be inclined towards a Shark Blue Clubsport sans fancy lights,BOSE,front lift etc and save another pile of dosh by having steel brakes. My biggest dilemma would be Manual vs PDK.
Love both for very different reasons but this time i think i'd plump for Manual just in case it really is the last one with NA and Manual. Hoping all the lucky ones post some pictures when they're taking delivery.

Yes, my thoughts exactly, not sure on colour yet, but Clubsport, Steels, No lift, and a few options so I'm around £6- £7 in total. I think I will be PDK, looking at trackdays more than road in this car.

Congratulations on the allocation! I wish I could of showed some restraint with the options I have managed to get up to 28k and that’s with a free colour! smile

£28k on options? Must have ticked some boxes two or three times I reckon!

It was easy to do it’s only a £151k ish spec car, it could be a chunk more with PTS

Carbon mirrors to fit at the dealer so add approx £1500 as they are not available from the factory on the 21 model.

Be careful you don't under-spec and harm future resale chances - I had a 991.2 manual clubsport, full buckets, but low spec without lift, bose and it had the plastic dash (although I think they are all leather for the 992) - mine took an age to sell and sold at the lowest price eventually - think the lack of lift being the major factor.

Further evidence from a genuine owner despite those continually bleating otherwise lol that basic or wrong spec cars even GT3s in a normal market always struggle to sell even at lower prices.

I agree, and part of my post was to say 'no lift' to gauge reaction.....
I have always specced lift on my GT3s (4) and I never really use this option, so to me its not essential. However, I have never had a problem come resale time as I have never sold one yet...!!

This time I do wonder if £2,200 or so is worth it for me...

So does PH say front lift is the first box I tick?

I would say lift is must on this new one. I use it all the time even on just a slight incline at Petrol stations, it works so fast also.

My first two GT cars didn’t have lift, the next two did. I’d say 50% of all inquiries put the phone down shortly after I told them no lift. Even though I don’t need it and it adds weight seems many demand it.

Just checked, my provisional spec has £28,430 of options (no PTS but with Carbon roof & Mirrors).

I've had GT cars with and without lift. I'd spec it every time if buying new and seek it out if looking for for a pre-owned GT3.

I live in central London, park in an underground garage and there are lots of speed humps/driveways. I find that lift makes for a less stressful drive and we end up using the GT3 with lift more than we did the GT4 without lift just because it has lift. I don't have to worry so much if it will get into the hotel car park, up the drive of the rented cottage, etc. It felt like I needed prior knowledge of a place to take the GT4 rather than the daily driver.

Lift isn't a total deal breaker for me but if there are two cars available, one with lift and one without, I'm buying the one with it.

My options came to 28726.00, I took the view that as it was around 4.5k cheaper than the later cars just to load it up. Also Imo the blue stitching inside works well with the Shark Blue Paint, have just ordered the CF wing mirrors to go on at 1,100.00 from OPC.

I think the lift on the new one is much better, as supposedly it uses GPS and remembers where you've used it in the past and automatically raises the car at that point, so I'd definitely spec it.

For me, I intend to keep the car for the long-term (at least 5 years, I keep the last one for 7 years), so it's easy to argue that the cost of options can be spread over the longer period, and most of them make the car much nicer to own over that period.

Lift is a must have

First owner might not have needed it, but second buyer/s might have a steep entry drive way.

Common sense really to have it, imo, for quick sale off load.
