It’s crazy, Romans have just sold one at 200k and I thought that was mental, not sure if they actually achieved that but 300k is just ridiculous, only a crazy person would pay anywhere near that. More allocations will bring these back to £160/170ish in my opinion.

The buyers clearly set the market value - now we get to gauge how close to 300 it is!

I see them having to start dropping the price on this, surely no one I’ll be interested at that level, it’s pretty much the norm for the first cars to be up for crazy money, some sell and some don’t. I have to say that the 991/991.2 generations cars are starting to look and feel there age in my opinion off course.

Not in a position to buy (unless numbers come in tonight) but I spec'd my dream GT3 up to £160K earlier on the configurator, anyone paying close to £300k wants their head looking at surely? 300k for someone else's spec seems utterly mad to me but maybe if you're used to buying top flight cars you're just used to it by now?

Anyone who pays a penny over £200k for the 992GT3 is pretty daft IMO. You can get a nice hardly driven 2018 991.2GT3 RS(Non WP) for that money and where my money would go personally.
Nothing makes sense any more regarding the recent spike in all asset classes..
