What about £220k for a 991.2 Touring? Yes, it's the everything bubble...
To put things into perspective that's not much less than what I paid recently for an 812 Superfast with 1.8k miles and a new cost of £344k.What about £220k for a 991.2 Touring? Yes, it's the everything bubble...

I think the GT3 and 3RS are a bargain still. If you spec a good 992 GTS you are in the 140+k zone.

Not to be controversial amd I am asking because you know your cars obviously and can compare from experience: is the 812 Superfast really worth a new 340-350 price tag?

I'm going off subject but on my 812 the original new buyer had spent an additional £80K on options on top of the basic list of £263k. This always benefits the next buyer as paying too much for options on a new car always ends in tears. Luckily i can't afford that level of losses.I think the GT3 and 3RS are a bargain still. The new 992GT3 is great value for money and in my opinion pretty much perfect without any options apart from the Clubsport package.I agree with you that once you spec the 992GTS up it seems expensive in comparison.
I'm at Silverstone on the 16th in my RS so looking to see a few 992GT3s on track.

You’ll be looking at their rear ends only mate Gitana991 said:
I’d think in the hands of good drivers, the 991.2 RS might still have the edge unless the 992 GT3 have been set up to their maximum track set up. From my early experience of the 992 GT3, it would be close though but these are two different cars in feel. I love both!
I'd love to hear more on your thoughts regarding the differences between the two cars. What makes you think that the 991.2 RS would have the edge over the 992GT3.?Taffy. He said it already in his post :_-)

There is yet to be a GT3RS or GT2RS for that matter in our track group that is quicker than our best pilot in a 991 GT3. Good driving makes more seconds than a bit of aero and fancy new suspension LOL!
My RHD 992GT3 was manufactured in June - last five digits of VIN 66764 (be curious how that compares to Apollo and the others on here that already have one).
The car is currently on a ship crossing the Pacific (next stop Auckland). Im hoping to have it in four weeks. Its painful that it takes two months from leaving the factory to get to the other side of the world. I have 10x track days booked between Sept 26 and April 14 next year along with a 4000km tour of the South Island so Im hoping to have a better idea on how the car compares to 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 by then...

Thanks Apolo. Thats interesting. My car was a May build allocation with the order cut off date 30 April. I suspect however supplier shortages may have delayed it to be built in early June....
David. Pleasantly surprised to see you hanging around these parts :-). Small world! Hope all is well. Have planned to head west coast on the way down this time but will be passing you on the way back and have opted for a later ferry so will be in your town and would love to catch up for a quick bite to eat. Wiull contact you closer the time (we will be heading back Mid March)....

New Zealand is a great country to tour in a GT3. In complete contrast West Wales is currently under siege from all the English tourists who in every other year would be shacked up in the Mediterranean....."In the hands of good drivers".....

I have very fond memories of NZ as i spent six weeks hitch hiking around both the North and South about 35 years ago. Fantastic country to both live in and visit.

Its the game you have to play to get them and the OPC make the rules up as they go along. It is what it is.
It is peanuts compared what you have to buy to get a Special edition Ferrari for example.
