Im not a fan of it and will never wear it, but I was looked after when I gave my Turbo S back so the cost was minimal thankfully.

If I had to buy one, it'd go immediately on chrono24. It looks ok but I'd never choose wearing it over any of the other watches I own...

In all fairness he has 75K followers and been doing it for 5 years, so I wouldn't say he is a wannabe. Ok not quite Shmee subscriber levels but I'd say he is more 'be' than 'wannabe'
888MF is a youtubing ponce, Followed me on instagram and badgered me to do something with him so he could go kick tyres in my car. I politely declined, he then unfollowed me biggrin

Interesting , a mate who had his there , thought the front was so good and the back was a bit loose ( maybe too hot and tyre press issue ).... the look has definitely grown
Fully agree with your friend on this back end being a bit lose when pressing on in the fast corners. Setting the front and rear Aero to max DF fixes this, on the tyre pressures these new Cups on the 992 GT3 do get high very quick after one fast lap they are ready for a dial down, based on my time with them.
I'm getting my suspension set up in a couple of weeks. With aero on max and bumpy B roads it feels very floaty on full throttle driving. Yes ultimately its got the grip but on british B roads it gets upset and fidgets too much (just like all the other 991 GT3's on standard settings)

Set up properly and with even more aggressive suspension somehow the car gets easier to drive. I suppose that all 4 wheels pointing in the right direction helps and settings that are a bit closer than the "within and inch" standard factory settings

Great to hear some honest owner experiences on the 992GT3 rather than the same drivel. Who are you going to get the geo done for you. When i get some free time i'm taking my RS to String Theory in Stratford.

I've had a slot booked in at Center Gravity for quite some time so am looking forward to getting it there in a couple of weeks time smile

That's always been my pick-up of him as well.

Are you seeing any tramlining on the rears on the road at all.

I have some Factory recommended track settings, will post up later..
But TBH, left on its stock settings apart from Aero and ARBs it rides so flat and has so much grip in the corners on track i am reluctant to mess with it. Another great few Hrs at Silverstone this afternoon, very impressed with just how stable the car feels in the fast corners it really gives confidence to get on the power early.

This is taken from the lovely porsche booklet about preparing your GT3 for track driving that comes with the car biggrin

I'll get mine done after 600 miles which is the recommendation from Porsche to allow the components to settle.

I agree, the grip is there and pretty well suited to track driving and billiard smooth roads. It's just when the road isn't ideal that it then wants to fidget, skip and tram. I'm also finding that the front will go light under hard acceleration which then gives a very floaty feel over said bumpy road. If its anything like the 3RS it will need more front negative camber and a slight lower on the front so it can the control the rear as opposed to having the rear bully the front into things it doesn't want to do.

Before you do anything i would get it checked to see if its within stock GEO settings. I know what you mean about more - camber improving the front on the 991GTs cars. But the way this new front works with its DWB it keeps it very stable, also TPs need to be at 30/33 Cold, front ARB to middle, rear to firm. After about 700 miles i did notice that the new ZF dampers seemed to have more compliance on B roads.

But isn't this the same with all cars fitted with the Cup2 tyres ?

On my GT4 I generally end up dropping around 8psi all round to give me what I feel to be the optimum grip at hot 30 psi all round, with a loose feel from around 32psi and an absolute max of 33/34 psi ...

No doubt somebody will have a view on the best hot maximum pressures for the GT3 format ... 32/29 ??

The downside with dropping pressures is that the car complains if you go below 25psi and tyres need to be brought back up to temperature after a long lunch !
