APOLO1,
That looks a good list with reference speeds on it.
I would like to see the full list?
But if that is a guide that the 992 GT3 is faster than the GT3RS and the other cars listed, it is no wonder they are going at such a high premium.

Quick one for the Macan owners, was speccing one up but don't see PASM as an option. and yet it is on the S.Looked under the chassis options but couldn't find it and it's not in the standard specs.

According to Porsche, PASM is standard on the Gen3 MacanS

Look at tech spec’s, drivetrain 4th from the bottom of the list

I'm genuinely sorry your GT3 has been unfortunate to get caught up with this global chip shortage. My Taycan Cross Turismo was meant to be a May build car and now I'll be lucky to get it before Xmas. Tracks will be open next year, hopefully with things eventually returning to some form of normality.

Just busy enjoying this amazing car as far as I am concerned and meeting owners who, are piling miles, including on 991.2 GT3 / GT3 RS/ GT2 RS. There are true passionate on this site (which is why I joined it) who use their cars and sometimes, in this difficult environment, have to sell them not to speculate/ make money, but because they need too. I remember when Juno was unfairly referred to as a flipper.
It is a great car. And writing about how good it is and a big step forward it is… could take… a book to write!
I can’t imagine what magic tricks they pulled together for the GT3 RS.

It is on the S model with the option of air suspension. It's not standard or in the options on the Base 2 litre Macan from what I can tell. Cheers.

I’m an owner
Over 1100 miles now
Run it in and haven’t maxed out the engine yet
Done a track day at an easy pace!

I don’t like the new 992 dash and computer screens
I much prefer the older style analogue dials

It’s easily as good as my 991RS on track, but I wouldnt keep it over my RS

I’m really happy to own it, and i love the front nostrils
But…….

I can’t see it being a long term keeper like my others..

Is it much firmer on the road?

Not that I can tell immediately
It feels very much like the RS, but quieter. Much quieter…

I’m running Goodyear’s rather than Michelin’s
The tyre pressures are the higher load setting than comfort
I haven’t found my way in the computer to reduce the setting yet, but if I just reduce the tyre pressures then the alarms go off, so I just increase tyres back to the higher pressure!!

It tramlines quite a bit, but mainly the roads are st and I do live in the country, as seen by the cow, sheep and horse muck wedged up in the underfloor ducting!

Across the Cotswolds last week my wife and dog were only too pleased to get out! The buckets and clubsport pack don’t really lend itself to a comfortable ride.
As a mans car, it’s fine I reckon.

I get this.

New era dash would be fine in a daily - Panamera, Cayenne, Taycan especially - but not in an ostensibly analogue track/fun car.

Great honest review Monch. If I'm honest this is the first GT Porsche in quite a while I didn't feel like trading up to. There is no way i can contemplate changing my RS WP for one despite knowing the 992GT3 is a great car. I've also lost interest in the Touring and will now set my sights on the 992RS if i'm deemed worthy enough. Otherwise i'm more than happy to keep my existing RS.

So many cars now have this , I find it deeply distracting having to surf menus whilst driving .

Agree. The 996/997 platform 911's are, when you step back in from most modern cars, refreshingly free of contemporary tinsel and baubles.

You didn't chalk "running in" on the back of it. 9/10 biggrin

Wish I'd been able to make it. Next time...
