One due into Romans shortly too. I think a few have traded off-market

I know of two that have been or are in the process of being sold, both under the radar. One owner stands to nett £100k, second £90k.

Does anyone else have the annoying roll bar rattle? I’ve tightened all the bolts and it’s not made any difference. It’s driving me crazy.

Nice orange stitch. Not seen that choice before.

Looks nice in isolation, but not so good against the yellow text on the gear stick etc.

Not much work around there bar yellow stitch or neutral - all of which have been done to death. One could probably do a slight mode to bring the gearstick text and the orange together.

Agreed, nice to see something a bit different, shame that the colour of the text on the gear selector (and the needles for the dials etc) can’t be changed, given other bespoke options available.

Looks to be same orange as mine, not common at all. I’m told most go for Lava Orange. In fact I’m having some seat bolsters made by Ed at Edguard and he said over the years no one has ever asked for this orange, only Lava.

Agree. He's specced the car for what he wants, rather than some dull, resale-friendly option list.

The 992 GT3's do look very, very good in grey and silver.

If you like Shark Blue then it looks like you're in luck. Think there are eight in that colour on Porsche's UK site.

Dont like that black front plastic ,they look better in darker colours that hide it ,or where it is colour matched .

Has anyone changed their manual gear knob to something less plasticy? Maybe a retro wooden one etc
I can't comment for a 992, but I did change my gear knob to this 917 style one on my 991.2

There is a guy in Mexico who makes them to order - I found him from recommendations on Rennlist. For my 991.2 he made a sleeve so that it fits correctly on to the car's gear selector shaft. Not sure if he does it for a 992 yet, but you can ask...
His name is Manuel Campuzano and his email address is porsche356sport@yahoo.com

Great quality, great service!

Would like to put a slightly narrower plate on the back on mine when it arrives in Oct, but don't know the width of the mounting point - see pic (someone else's car).

Does anyone know how wide it is, and if it'll be possible to go narrower without any logistical issues?

Thanks everyone. Appreciate it.

Plates For Cars platesforcars.co.uk will make you one up in the right size. My 991 GT3 has one that fits perfectly over that ugly moulding. I used the double-sided sticky mountings from Halfords to attach it.
Size was 355x111mm (14x4.4in)
For the front I has a stick-on vinyl plate made to avoid the bumper mountings needed for a normal plate.

Fantastic. Thanks very much. Really useful.

Am also going for a vinyl plate at the front, probably 350 x 90 in order fit.

Are vinyl stick-on plates allowed? Or do you just buy season fixed penalty tickets?

Don’t know the law but have got vinyl on front of Boxster. No issues so far and hope I haven’t tempted fate.
