It looks very similar to the stick on plate I have on my 991.2 GT3 being 90 mm high with 70 mm high numbers / letters this allowed for a thin line border set in 5 mm. I had 6 characters & it was 430 mm long. The company that made it said it was approx 10% smaller than a normal plate.

Yes, my mistake. I saw another in Netherlands on Pirelli’s.
Noone specs anything tyre wise in the uk. It’s pot luck.
If mine turns up on anything but Cup2 they will be on eBay and replaced.
Dont blame you, you cannot beat the Cup 2, especially with the exhaust layout on the GT3.Bet your getting excited now.Noone specs anything tyre wise in the uk. It’s pot luck.

Gen 2 price nuttiness continues unabated. Just shy of 150k for a low miler:

Who is going to pay these prices and avoid a massive price correction when 992s start coming through ?
Only for the brave or plain stupid IMHO

Nope, its on Goodyears.Cannot understand why people spec different to what it was tested on.
Supposedly there is a CUP2 shortage, so it depends if they’re available at the time of build.I will be pissed if mine doesn’t come on CUP2 and will change them as soon as possible.
I have checked the spec sheet and it just states sport tyres - so they can stick on whatever they want.

When even mainstream and vanilla £20k stuff is fetching £5k over book price £150k for a low mileage good spec GT3 is good value as these will easily be £160k by Autumn with the restricted supply of quality manual CS cars in particular.
£140k was derided only a few months back but this has been breached already many times as initially predicted.
With 992s at an accurately predicted £220k, £160k is cheap for arguably the better and more usable and faster car in most real world situations for most of us.
The days of cheap ££ UK cars esp high end could well soon be a distant memory.

In my opinion I think by autumn they’ll drop 10/20k back to where they were , winter time they always take a hit. Also can’t see 992 gt3 at 220k, not a chance, maybe closer to 200k for the first few cars only. I think by September all the money that these folks/company owners have had from the govt will dry up and they’ll be a load of people unloading there assets they can’t afford. Also feel like owners keep talking up prices of there cars, don’t get me wrong I own a manual gen 2 car and yes it’s an amazing car but can’t see them maintaining value once winter hits and track seasons over, I like to be realistic and bought my car with the intention of driving , not to watch and keep talking prices up. I also see 992 gt3s bringing prices of the older cars down ,
Nope the market suggests otherwise irrespective of the usual seasonal fluctuations which always affect Porsche GTs evidence e.g. the 981 GT4 and Spyder with even 6 year old cars still retailing over list ££ so extremely unlikely to happen with the GT3 esp bearing in mind limited numbers of new and used cars and huge price hike. That is clearly the market most OPCs only getting a couple of cars this year and supply issues currently applies across many brands due to many factors not least parts supply semi conductor etc issues hitting all manufacturers which most experts predict will inevitably affect supply chains well into next year.First flipped 991.2 sold for mid £180ks 2018 with steady stream of cars available then the market was quieter then also and less money around so £220k will be a minimum for the 992 also look at the 991.2 RS for evidence and price support.
Nice to see you drive your car and talk about prices too just like myself and most of us on here. These discussions are clearly not mutually exclusive btw.

Anyone who pays £220k for one of the first flipped 992GT3s is clearly in need of therapy. There are far better cars to buy with that sort of money IMO.
Agree entirely Taff but as history proves time and time again there are always those who are prepared to pay whatever the going market rate is no matter how high a price ££ at the time in order to secure the latest shiny trinket.......av185 said:
