The seats may need to change, I agree, it’s hard to tell until the door cards are in and centre console is finished in carbon.

There are some decals that you will see soon. They will divide opinion.
Stunning build. Great concept and nice colours. Some items are personal. I'd choose different wheels and seats.

The seats don't look that supportive. How are they in reality?

I still think Recaro Pole positions are the aftermarket seat of choice.

Great thread - really enjoying reading about the project.

The seats in the thumbnail photo look as though you have laid two pairs of children's dungarees out to dry on a set of black seats . . .

Maybe fine on 996 I'd still want nicer rubber not worse on a C2S. Cup 2 or P4S. On a breathed on C2S I'd be looking for a 245 35 19 and 305 30 19 i.e. GT3 sizes. Look very cool too IMO and go perfectly well on a 997. A P4S a lovely tyre to run that car on. Very nice build. I'm so tempted with a colour change seeing this. Don't drive her into work any more so could go for a special PTS colour.

Looks fantastic! Are the stripes tape or painted? Is the bonnet black to match the rear? I look forward to more photos, this is a really great build.

They are vinyl. Had front PPF as the paint is so good. Bonnet is green

I'm loving this project.

Also now loving the thought of a 996/7 track slag with a more tuned version of this 3.9L conversion. Ooft.

I like the stripes, and the black deck lid works too.

You must be getting super keen to take it out!

Great build with a very cohesive design theme (modern take on a sort of retro gentleman racer type of thing). Currently trying to do a very cheap version of the same thing with my 996. Stupid big wings and big spindly modern wheels have no place here.

Re the seats. Pick the seat that best fits your arse is my take. The black alcantara looks too black, needs to be more a charcoal or better yet, leather. Not a huge fan of alcantara in a retro theme.

Love the carbon fiber trim around the boot/bonnet release switches - is this custom or off-the-shelf?

That looks like a door sill to me?

Plastic on the standard car. This has ether been wrapped, covered or replaced with a full carbon piece. That's what I think he is asking.

Carbon wrap. The matt 3M has come a long way. Does it look exactly like carbon, no but its much better than the black plastic

ATM, you may not have totally lost your bet there is some more to reveal in good time

We had to change the stripes from the R. Made them a narrower and continued downt to the frunk lip. Rear is also different

The gold, green and grey (yes its grey not silver) looks very good to me. Iphone over exposes so eveything looks lighter than it actually is.

Its all subjective. Plan is to have 1st drive 1st week of May

This is my favourite current Porsche thread.

I just love what you are doing here and the fact you have carefully considered what you want for each element and how that builds into the complete vehicle that is right for you.

I am looking forward to see how it all comes together.

Top job Sir.. clap

Perhaps some tiny pin stripes in Gold around or inside the silver strips.

With a name like Jeweller you obviously need more Gold on the car
