I’ve really enjoyed followed this build, rapid progress and great seeing it all come together, a pleasant change from the usual ‘values’ and ‘stitching’ threads we get.

If you ever want to meet up and compare drives happy to post CV 19 restrictions abandoned. Thinking about a full colour change myself so would love to see the quality of the work. Any hassle with paperwork, log book etc? Pics pls!

I am happy to let other enthausiats drive it. As long as you have a similar car and passion

Car will be stored with my race team as I have too many at home at the moment, will post the details and address next

Working on mapping tomorrow, so should be on the road at the weekend.

Had 1st Drive and very impressed. It is better than I expected with a great attention to detail. It is and feels like a brand new car.

A few bits to finish on the interior but it has come out exceptionally well.

Here are a few highlights

Stance and Look. Execatly what I wanted, clean and not fussy. Running quite low and it looks amazing on road. Paint is amazing

Engine. Still running in and its not mapped yet but mid range is great and pulls cleanly. Backed to Backed with a 2S and is much stronger. Once mapped I think we will have a very good output.

Brakes. Good feel and plety of power. Pedal a bit soft so will bleed a few times and maybe change Master Cylinder

Drivetrain. LWFW and Paddle clutch are agressive but great when you are on it. Pedal is light. Gear change is very positive with new cables and short shift. Detent is a little weak so will let cables settle and work on the SS kit to make more positive

LSD. Not really tested yet

Suspension. Feels very good. We have softened the front a bit and feels nailed on. Runnign an agressive GEO for the road and car does not tramline and is very supple

Noise. We nailed this, the Xpipe Sports Cars, larger TB and airbox resonator delete make it sound a bit air cooled. Not too loud and perfect for my tastes

Interior. I like it, some dont. I am not trying to match the front seats to the rest of the interior, the idea was a light street rod so the seats are meant to look after market. Lots of details going on that I will take photos of when done

ICE. Full APPLE Carplay and DAB on Touch Screen that looks factory, works well with Bose, better than most manufactures can do IMO.

Full pics comming soon when running in is done

What dampers have you gone for - they look like Bilstein pss9. I see you mentioned Power Flex bushes. Have you just changed dampers and bushes - nothing else?
