Wonder how many won't spec the Carbon roof and regret it, will now be a must have option.
I would put the carbon roof because from the experience of WP, it looks amazing. Having said that magnesium wheels were the thing to have for many on second batch .2 3RS but... the worry of magnesium wheels was an issue and I always thought the “normal” GT3 wheels looked amazing! One thing for sure, a driver like me wouldn’t feel the benefit of a lightweight carbon roof (also because I wouldn’t have another equivalent car without it to compare with). So it’d be mostly cometic!av185 said:

I remain unconvinced especially at £2.5k to save a kg.Edited by APOLO1 on Friday 26th February 21:50

I think this is really interesting.
I made me make the decision to buy a secondhand 991.2CS ... it will be a road car so the the harnesses and fire extinguisher will stay in storage and the PDKS will be something to play with.
I wonder, when history analyses it's story, where the GT3 sweet spot will be.
The first is always the first, the future's electric.

Love the one(s) you’re with and drive the! We will all be history one day. - a very long time dead.In fairness, all platforms have been sufficiently different to each other, and competent, to stand up on their own merit.

Think Shark Blue looks superb, one of the best colours on offer. Just wondering 25% off all UK 992 GT3s will be in launch colour?
Completely agree and it’s likely to be more universally liked than for example Lizard Green was on the .2RS, but even then most of them were specced in that colour. My 1st trip to the Ring in my Lizard and there were 7 in the same colour and 2 in other colours. I would have been gutted but for the fact mine had a unique livery. Reality is you would hardly ever see another GT3 on the road, never mind one in the same colour

I think it will be popular and to start with that put me off, but I’ve decided I’ll enjoy seeing twins on the road or track!
I’m definitely going shark.
Although sharks aren’t blue, but that’s a minor point.
Apart from Blue Sharks . . .I’m definitely going shark.

Sorry, but that front grill...
Growing on me! The real test, for the lucky ones, will be on the road. Because the best view you can have with a 911 is... from behind the wheel and listening to the engine note and staring at the road where every input on the wheel makes you feel one with the car. This is what 911s are to me, even more in GT spec!Gitana991 said:

Same here. I'm starting to quite like the aggressive and Motorsport stance especially in Shark Blue. I bet it drives amazingly well and a big step up on the 991. Can't wait to read CH and HC's driving impressions.Digga said:

Crosby Stills Nash and Young ... you are of course quite correct. In fairness, all platforms have been sufficiently different to each other, and competent, to stand up on their own merit.
Maybe I just prefer analogue
