Sorry, I've neither the time or inclination to respond at length to your keyboard "rants".
I appreciate you're new around these parts, so I'd suggest you do a search for what the whoosh parrot gif represents on PH and then work it out for yourself, because currently, you're the only one on this thread who's behaving like a 12 year old.

If you you're unable to grasp why I used that specific gif, you may want to reconsider your recent decision to post on a forum such as PH ...
He's not new around here.

MrDemon = Porsche911R = RupertLambo = DavidLankaster

DL, to well informed to be Mr Demon. When cars get used as intended not unusual to require a bit of prep for resale.

It's a PistonHeads thing - it's a way of asking for proof smile

But hes spot on with all his Factual points, with regards to times, power etc about both cars. No way that Mr D would know this.

Really? Just seems to be trotting out the same old opinions to me, but I really don't care either way. I just thought it was an interesting observation given the content and posting style...

Anyway back to chosen subject... My OPC contact informed me yesterday that 992GT3s are not selling at huge premiums. The ones which have been 'flipped' are SELLING for £160-180K depending on spec, colour and miles. All the adverts showing asking prices between £240-260K are all 'pie in the sky'. He was surprised at this but the looks and compromised ride are putting potential buyers off.

Drove a mates one in the EU last week, don’t personally like the looks and the interior tech is too much for a Luddite like me.

Ride seemed fine to me, clearly the EPAS has been re-calibrated as the steering feels much faster, not the double trombones IMO as some are saying.

Prefer the look and drive of my 991.2 Touring.

It may have escaped your attention, but it is possible to have an opinion on something without being the target market for it. Difficult to understand I know, but do give it a go.

I won't dignify your second question with an answer, though it's all too clear that's precisely your reason for being on here, and appears to be your MO.

As others have rightly said, sounds like 911R, behaves like 911R, is as rude as 911R, so stands a good chance it is 911R ...

If it is, he won't be the only contributor whose got banned/flounced off then come crawling back under another username to continue their general unpleasantness and trolling ... so keep your eyes peeled and you'll find the other PH Porsche forum keyboard warrior can be found in our midst from time to time ... rolleyes

Ever fule no that's a Carrera GT next to the 992 GT3, not a 991.2 Touring.

You just pinched that picture off the Instagram, didn't you?

All I see in that picture is that the owner of the CGT is incapable of parking in an allocated spot. Poor parking is a sign of a poor driver who lacks basic skills and shouldn't be allowed to mix with the general public. I seem to recall the CGT owner exhibiting similar heinous parking of his 991 Touring in the UK recently.biggrin

I was with Porsche at silverstone over the w/e
took a GT3 on track. epic, what a car

the instructor asked me, do you want to buy one? i said sure
he called some dealers and they sent me details of a GT3 992 for £240k

£240k ??

They even tried to justify the cost based on the fact that it had a carbon fibre roof... ahahahah

I can believe that , there’s now 11 cars on there and the lowest is 240k at opc which I can see taking offers circa 200k. I bet these will be sub 200k before Christmas, winters coming and they always take a hit in winter, this one will be even bigger due to furlough ending too.
