The crayon 992 GT3 recently sold at CC now for sale at Stockport OPC.
https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/QZD58Z...
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2022-porsche-9...
Good spot, thin margin on that, paid 197.2k inc buyers premium and up at 206k ...https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/QZD58Z...

Wipe it down and sell it ....
What would retail have been?
Maybe the sale fell through on CC.

We’d all want to talk up our own cars, but for me it was no. I appreciate the Gen 2 had subtle revisions in the suspension etc. but apart from the engine pretty much everything else is possible to retro or improve. Centre locks really put me off, and i prefer the Gen 1 styling so personally felt the >£30k premium was not worth it at all.
And the whole comfort thing is done to death, so easy to fit aftermarket seats and a cage if that floats your boat.
Lucky we all like different things, my Gen 1 comfort is the best car i’ve ever had now i’ve gelled with it properly. I’ll probably look at 991.2 GT3 next year and i’ll be wanting a comfort spec on that as well.
I’d agree with you, it’s very hard to justify a c.£30k premium on a gen 2 997GT3, when a gen 1 is such a great car. I’m looking for a speed yellow or guards red 997.1 GT3 - not easy..!And the whole comfort thing is done to death, so easy to fit aftermarket seats and a cage if that floats your boat.

I'd have killed for a speed yellow gen2 when I was looking for mine though I don't think one exists in the UK. I did see a gen1 for sale but it had been seriously messed with. Ultimately, like I've said before, buy based on condition. I found that most of the gen1's I had been to look at were well kept cars but had a history. The gen2's being 4/5 years newer mostly seemed to still be within Porsche warranty and were generally a lot better kept/original. That's probably another reason for the extra premium... The 3.8 is an awful lot more refined on startup and driving than the 3.6 too (in a good way).
Clubsport/comfort argument - sure the space is nice in the rear but now I have a clubsport, I wouldn't ever want a comfort. Its so much more special inside with carbon buckets and a roll cage Though I am sure when I come to do a decent enough road trip in it I'll be hating on the cage!

Guess we will never know what it went for as was SOR, they gave me a bottom line on it 5 weeks ago and the 121.9k it was readertised for is below that number!!
Good buy for someone.
They should have called you!Good buy for someone.
definitively telling you they wouldn't go below a certain price and dropping it well below that after a few weeks

JZM were impeccable in the way I was treated and I had never been there before, have registered my interest in future cars with them.
