Slightly Off topic.
Has anyone suffered oil line leak issues as reported in some threads on Rennlist? Seems to be a fair few over there affecting Gen 2 engines but cannot find any other information on a search (probably a good sign).
Mines as dry as a bone - 8k miles. Has anyone suffered oil line leak issues as reported in some threads on Rennlist? Seems to be a fair few over there affecting Gen 2 engines but cannot find any other information on a search (probably a good sign).
I'll keep an eye on it.

I missed a few due to them selling hours after being listed.
If you find the right car grab it before someone else does.
+1 Reserved mine 5 minutes after it appeared on Approved Used Porsche site.If you find the right car grab it before someone else does.
I have been waiting since the start of this year for the colour and spec, not seen one since.
You can set up email alerts for the OPC site.

That sounds a great trip, good on you, we are going long haul this year or would be doing a long overdue Euro road trip across into Austria. What a great car, didn’t miss a beat..

I think the market is shifting on regular stuff ,stock isn’t moving and dealers are not paying what they were for cars .Whether the gt3 remains immune from that we will see .
Agreed, I just moved my 911 on as I wasn't using it and could see the market faltering. It was the only serious contact in 2 weeks on AT (after 1-2 months on PH and unusually lots of time wasters). It went for full asking. If CAP and other independent reviews are anything to go by, apparently the general market (not GT3) is down about 2-3% per month since the start of the year, but there are also reports that used car prices went up as much as 20-50% over covid. I should't be surprised as my 911 went for 40% more than I paid 3 years ago. Below £50k suffering more than above apparently, but all are falling.

Just a bit of a reality checkoint here....I have recently sold my 991.1 RS. Put on AT and PH zero interest. Sold it to Porsche. Scraped my money back as I bought it very well from a private seller. The number of GT cars on the market is growing. They are overpriced and in my experience of having a decent mileage totally fully loaded car its been one of the hardest to sell cars I've had. the delusion levels are very high on here. Its bad time to buy such a car as a correction is not due its here already or at least the beginning of it. The GT3 was ultimately too dull for my tastes but will be replacing it over winter for a decent saving over current prices I think. If a main dealer has a well specced car they will probably sell it but as an owner you arent a main dealer and they will still want your car for luke warm money as only the main dealers car really attract these big prices.

I think we all like to be a little delusional as we all have large amounts tied up in these cars, however very little research will show you SOR cars are flying out in most cases also - not just at Porsche dealerships... However i would expect most 'limited' cars will become slightly more available due to the current/impending economic landscape.I know I paid more than the equivalent car from 12 months ago, but I'm ok with that.
And as for the number of cars on the market growing?...there are currently 3 991.2 GT3's for sale in the main dealer network.
I think you're probably the first person I've heard ever describe one of the cars as dull.
Do enjoy being without a car this summer

Most of the same cars are sat around that were there in January when I was buying. There are always outliers but I work in the trade and there is a big slowdown already in progress. I had no shortage of SOR offers it would have been very ego flattering to have my car sat at £170k somewhere but the reality is it would never have sold for anywhere near that. None of these companies have any money to actually buy cars or at least they will reserve their own funds for cars they have bought at true trade prices.
