Great thread. I understand the OP only wanting a 911 with minimal options. In that context the GFV is very strong. Compare it with the 718 Cayman GTS and it looks good value if you only want to keep it for four years.

Also ICE cars could easily become socially unacceptable in an urban setting quicker than many expect albeit I don’t see it being an issue in the next five years or so.

The thing that gets me is how expensive used 992s are as they are filled options I would not want. So go with the low spec new car and enjoy! What are the lead times?

Lead times are seemingly am estimate of 9-12 months.

I'm thinking of about 10-14k of options. Sports design, exaust, chono and alloys take the majority of that.

Anyone else have any must haves?
