How would you spec your 992 GTS?

Nice car and love the colour. Looks like a lot of fun.
When was your GTS originally due if it has been delayed to July?
Originally Due Q1. Had promised my current C-Class to a family member and been dragging that out as they needed it a couple of months back so handed it over which gave me a great excuse to splurge on the Lotus. Was in the colour and unusual spec I would have went for and for sale in a Dealership on the road between my house and the gym, I mean it was meant to be right??? lol. Hopefully I won't lose too much on it when I sell it when the GTS is built. When was your GTS originally due if it has been delayed to July?

Looks like it was definitely meant to be then! Eventually got around to doing my PEC day earlier this week in a 992GTS Targa (Gentian Blue). Had a go on most of the facilities at Silverstone.
Was a great experience overall, although obviously goes quickly and you could spend days there without issue messing around on the different sections. Didn't spend much time on the handling circuits as to be honest that's just simple driving which you can do anywhere, whereas the other sections, ie 'Ice Hill', 'Kick Plate' & 'Straights' are where you can see how different settings effect how the car reacts to each thing, and found this much more interesting.
First of all, the car is epic, and apparently I should have it in the next 2 weeks, so can't wait now. Speed is all relative to some degree, and let's be honest most Porsche's are generally 'quick' in real world conditions, and probably 'excessive', so the acceleration side of things whilst great, is something rarely used on the roads to its full potential without looking a complete tool and likely spending time away at her majesties pleasure. What was interesting to understand is how quickly these things can come to a stop.
We were messing around accelerating up to certain speeds and braking, or just accelerating with a view to hitting the brakes and stopping at a certain point to see if I could judge how quickly the car could stop. Its fair to say it exceeded by expectations to start with, and the braking side of things amazed me. They did say in the initial briefing that any Porsche is design to get from 60-0 in half the time it takes the same car to get from 0-60, so in the case of the PDK GTS that does 0-60 in around 3.5 seconds (but in reality nearer to 3.2 seconds I believe) then 60-0 is sub 1.6 seconds. Pretty impressive, and didn't realise that the rear wing on the 992 GTS (not sure about other models) acts as an air brake under aggressive braking.
As said, can't wait for the car now. A near perfect GT car IMO, and just in time for summer

Glad you had a good day and I echo pretty much everything you have said. I was in a C2 GTS and I spent more time on the handling circuits and also went onto the actual roads around Silverstone, did a circa 40 min run just to see how the suspension was on the UK roads. I must admit, I actually felt a bit queasy after the hard Launch Controls and emergency braking, especially after a decent sized lunch (didn't actually get sick). I enjoyed the half day so much that I went for a second time, self funded of course the second time round. Not long to go for you then. I can't remember if you mentioned before, but what colour have you gone for?
