How would you spec your 992 GTS?

Genuinely don’t get it. Are people that desperate for maybe 20k they wait a year for a car just to flip it straight away, and not even back to the dealer which I could half understand as likely gets you a slot on something slightly more limited.
Surely the knowledge of having a car which is likely to be free motoring for a least a year should be sufficient ? I mean, if you sell for a 20k profit what are you actually buying as everything else is equally high at the moment.

If one is flipping an array of cars (inc other brands) each year then it is a career of sorts - as there is no capital gains on car sales. A shameful career perhaps, but until the nation bands together and flat out refuses to buy a car which is obviously a flip, or the platforms put guardrails in place, or its mitigated by dealers, (all of which will never happen) then it'll continue forevermore. I know what you mean about it looking odd. I don't think the soft top is sitting right, they are usual sat higher IMOhttps://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2022-porsche-9...

I am 4 weeks into ownership 1500 miles, and just, well, what a car.
I'm a C2GTS Cabrio, Manual, Gentian Blue, RS Spyders, full truffle interior with brown roof. Crayon Stitching.
So, thoughts. The manual gearbox is sublime, the car is so involving to drive, so fast, you can't possibly need more power than this for road driving.
The suspension is fine for daily driving, its lower and a bit harder than a normal carrera, but its fine, lovely on a motorway. First weekend we went from just north of London, up to Peterborough, then across to north Norfolk for the weekend. Did 600 miles all in, different driving, was fabulous on any type of road, be it cruising at 1500 RPM up the A1 in seventh, or pushing a bit harder down some nice twisty roads.

I guess those wheels have been painted afterwards as currently no factory option to have them in silver right?
For those of you who have taken delivery recently or are about to, have your cars arrived on time, earlier or later than originally quoted? If earlier or later, then by how much? Thanks.

The leather looks lighter than it is in real life. I also love the ruffling which breaks it all up, with the crayon stitching, and the interior paint package which adds accents in exterior colour.
Brown roof really works.
Thank you for sharing, lovely spec, and the brown and blue work really well. Brown roof really works.

Could have been refinished or just swapped for Turbo alloys I suppose. For those of you who have taken delivery recently or are about to, have your cars arrived on time, earlier or later than originally quoted? If earlier or later, then by how much? Thanks.
Re delivery, I get mine next week, so early May. At time of securing the build slot I was told it was a March build slot for April delivery, so maybe delayed a month.

Yes, that will be the dealer tax! But couple of advantages I suppose: 1) Any problems with them later on then you can take them back to the dealer to sort. 2) Don't need to worry about removal and fitment of Centre Lock wheels, as not everyone can do that. Schuey_911 said:

£180 per alloy. Doesn't seem that bad to my being honest.Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
