Thanks,
Needs Silver Bar and None Privvy IMO to set the " Targa" Style more.
Privacy glass isn't as dark in reality as it looks in the pictures. It must be the curvature of the glass or something I have it on mine and had concerns prior to delivery, but none now. I suppose if you think it may be too dark, its easier to get the clear one and then have it tinted to a lesser degree.Needs Silver Bar and None Privvy IMO to set the " Targa" Style more.
I personally like the black bar as goes with the other black accents on the GTS, but assuming you went with a silver bar, you'd have to have the alloys done to match.

I Dont think that there is a right or wrong one on this, after all we all like Different things.
I was lucky to see Privvy and Dark Roll Bar on a Black C4S before I had to lock in my spec, as soon as i saw it agreed with the DP that its looses the lines of the what makes the Targa style wise. On a Black car it looks like a Coupe, Imo. I am a big Fan of Privvy BTW, and have had it on all my 911s when ever it has been a option. But glad I did not put it on my Targa. Pleased you are enjoying your car, as an overall package as daily driver I rate the Targa 4GTS above my time in 992tts.

I think I said it on here recently, I struggle to see an 'everyday' car which can offer what the Targa does. Its just a fantastic overall package.I Dont think that there is a right or wrong one on this, after all we all like Different things.

The 992 GTS version is obviously very quick, as comfy as anything else I've driven, the technology is now in the right decade, and the option to remove the roof in part is just the icing on the cake (and I can honestly say I've had no wind noise issues with the roof down at any of the UK speed limits).
I was considering looking at my next order being a Turbo, but just can't see why I'd give up the open top option (and not a cabriolet fan) for something which is fractionally quicker at speeds we tend to travel at on UK road these days.

Yes, the electric steering column is part of the 18 way seat package. At least it’s supposed to be, my car was collected on Tuesday and I’ve been given manual adjustment due to the supply chain issue.
I was 100% sure it was on the configurator as part of the 18 ways, thanks for confirming. Can’t see how the memory package would work without this, such a shame that they don’t advise beforehand of this.FMR said:

Thanks for the link, what are owners in the UK doing about this? I’ve yet to receive an allocation, but not heard anything about this from my OPC.SamL said:
Absolutely amazing, love it. Carmine was a top choice for me too but then I went with Shark in the end. Mine is going into production soon and early morning drive pics like this is getting me excited as that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. Perhaps we can do a little meet when I get mine, take some Carmine and Shark shots Schuey_911 said:

Sounds good, where are you based?SamL said:

I’m based in the Midlands, Sam. But no worries if you’re down south, when the time comes we can meet up somewhere in between. I have a few biker friends in London and we often meet up at Silverstone before setting out for rides, so we will sort something out. I will need any excuse to get some miles on the car. I envy you. Looks epic. I’m still without allocation but when it finally arrives, I will be ticking the high gloss pack. I think it looks epic having finally seen it in the flesh at my OPC.
I was fortunate enough to also take their demo out and confirm that I will require FAL else getting up the drive will require taking the car up at an angle….
The wait goes on….
