Interested to know what fuel people are running?

I've filled up twice now, once with Esso Supreme 99 RON and once with Shell V-Power, so running it on the best fuels available and 98 Ron or above as recommended.

Do you guys notice car runs better on certain fuels?

Can't say I've noticed to be honest, and have used various fuels in the 4000 miles to date.

After some deliberation I cancelled my 4.0 GTS order last week. A few things played into the decision (not least the uncertainly we all face right now) but in the end I’m a 911 fan at heart.

Increased and moved my deposit to this: PPHLPZ28
Black calipers?

Looks great.

Finally got the stage 4 in the app and pics of the car mid build. Salesman said car is waiting for a boat at Emden. Hopefully not long now.

Also been told they will honour the 5.9% plus I get the updated residual at 84k

Just went with whatever on the callipers to be honest. Will take a look around. Loads of time until I have to lock the spec.

I have red callipers on my 991.2 and they look ok.

I have just put my deposit down on a new Targa GTS. I spent some time with the sales guy who advised me to specify the car exactly to my own taste and not to worry to much about what others may think (I do always listen to others opinions). However he strongly advised that a GTS should be just that and not to turn it into an S. His opinion was the centre lock wheels, GTS Interior and RWS we’re a must I’m happy with the RWS but to be honest I’m not keen on the wheels or GTS interior. The wheels have the potential to be a PITA and like APOLO1 I prefer the leather interior.

My current car is a 718 GT4 which I love and have enjoyed but I’ve order now due to a predicted wait of around 18 months (very possibly more).

I’m going to the configurator now and will post up my initial specification to see what you guys think of it good and not so good.

Got first two images today, take it I will get some completed ones ? Car was ordered December, delivery before the end of the Month.

click to the left or right of those pics, should be there
My car's just reached this stage. Only the two pics like yours. Just a couple of generic shots when I swipe.

Had the completed profile pic in the app when I got my Boxster, but not seemingly this time, or not yet anyway. Annoying as I want to try and see what tyres it's got on.

Still no finished pictures on the app, supposedly arrives at dealer tomorrow, so hopefully see it in real life shortly….

A targa in my view is better in full leathers…it will likely get wet at some point, or worse, targeted by a very accurate s£hit from a flock of birds.

Stick some carbon in it to give a more GTS feel.

I agree, as a fellow GTS targa owner.

Full leather, racetex accents and the carbon pack and carbon steering wheel (racetex).

Works for me.

Test drove a GTS 4 coupe today.

Wow what a car - I was very impressed with the whole package and the sound with sports exhaust on was great I thought.

Particularly enjoyed the low / mid punch which for me meant fun could be had at reasonable speeds.

Current 718 GT4 owner.
To quote myself I have taken the plunge.
Rwd Cab - sold to wife on ease of rear access !!

Not really sure how to spec it tbh - exterior wise will be black or grey / centre locks / PDK

Basically mulling over the following:

Race tex or full leather- leaning race tex with leather (not full GTS) but if black exterior I do like the two tone leather with the tan
Rear wheel steer - on the fence 50:50
Adaptive cruise - don’t use it often but do like it when on a longer run
Front lift - the fact I’m thinking about it so much makes me think I best crack on. Annoys me in the GT4 worrying about routes etc.
Surround view - thinking rear camera should be fine

Current GT4 owner also ordered a 992GTS cab recently. Out if interest, what delivery timescale have they offered you please?

Does anyone have experience of both GTS and Turbo S 992s? I’d be interested in views re driving dynamics rather than spec/comfort etc.

Very nice. Out of curiosity, you weren't tempted by the 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design Targa?

Not a fan of black to be honest. So no.
