I am hoping to get a GTS order confirmed soon. Living in Bavaria I am beginning to wonder if I will get to stretch its legs as not only are there years of roadworks for the autobahns going on, but they are always full. Recent North South and South North return in my M135i saw it in eco mode almost the whole way and on!y brief spells in the +200kph. 911 looks good though stuck in traffic in Suttgart and Munich! 20 years from now we may look on cars like we do white goods, just a machine to do a job. Here is my spec specifically altering the suspension as even in Germany some roads are crap.

I think good move on going back to standard PASM. Mine has the standard -10mm and i find it too stiff for UK roads.

Took delivery of my GTS with the standard -10mm suspension and I find it quite comfortable... it's a lot more compliant than my wife's Mini. I did set the tyre pressures to 'comfort' which will have an affect on the ride quality. My spec included the front lift system, and I'm using it more than I expected but I am probably being over cautious at the moment.

I have the same spec as you to be clear and i posted earlier in this thread about comfort pressure which for me as well did a fair amount of difference.

Car is perfectly comfortable on smooth-ish roads. The moment they degrade only slightly makes it quite bouncy i find. Not like some the gt3's i previously had but still remarkably firm. I suspect perfectly fine for Europe. But for the UK, i wish there was another notch of suppleness. Particularly on countryside lanes.

Same spec for me as you gents, and I find it quite comfortable for the kind of car it is. Just recently back from Germany and even on some poor roads through Stuttgart where there were quite a few road-words ongoing, I found it perfectly acceptable. I suppose I'm comparing it to my previous BMW M4 Comp which was very bouncy indeed even in Comfort mode. But Front Axle Lift is brilliant, so glad I specced it and feel it has saved my front lip many times already.

My car's coming (soon I bloody hope) with front axel lift. Have never had it on a car before. Did you use it on every speed bump and ramp, or did you find it was only necessary on the really challenging stuff like ferry ramp?

Just on the challenging stuff, normal speed humps are fine. But you kind of just know when you need to activate it when you think "ooh, that looks a bit steep or high". There were a few car parks too in Germany that had steep ramps, I used it there as well and felt very much at ease as it would have ruined my trip somewhat if something got scraped.

How long is the current wait for a GTS...?

Are they still fetching overs?

What do you make of this?

Looks like it has a basic interior. Plastic dash top from what I can see.

Yep, I agree. You buy a GTS so why should you have to pay extra for a 'GTS Interior'!!!?? I did get the GTS interior pack but my point is it should come with the car. Oh well, I do love the car though so never mind and all is forgiven lol smile

It has arrived. Will get PDI tomorrow and camera fitted then off to detailed for full PPF and ceramic. Glad I went for the updated Pdo selector also. Looks so much nicer than the stock one.
