GTS discs seem only need to see damp and be still for a few days and they start to tarnish. A quick spin and a dap of two of the brakes and they are back to normal, they do have an etched finish which is different to the S which is probably the reason.

Sadly, that etched finish disappears over time as you use the brakes. After my trip to Germany and back, they're starting to look like regular brake discs now..

Mine is brand spanking, 4 miles on the clock when I picked it up today. If you clean new disks and don’t dry them you’ll get that look on them (former car detailer). Was perfect for the collection today, and the tyres were dressed.

Love the car, it’s competing with my Evora 410 GT for driveway space, it clearly wins but there’s some financials at play in the decision. The wife loves the 911 though so not sure there is still a decision to be made as to which I keep. Might just punt her RRS and keep both lol.

I love the Aventurine on 911. I specced it for my 911 C2S, probably 992.2 by the time I get it.
