If you want a 992.2 GTS you will have a few years to wait. If you want a 992.2 S then have a word with your dealer. I don’t think you will see customer car until early 2024. You may get put to the back of there list as your deposit may not be transferable for another model, therefore you could in for a long wait. I hope that makes sense.
apologies for the naive question.I appreciate that ordering/speccing a Porsche is like a fingerprint: unique
I have noticed that there are a growing number of highly specced, delivery/low milage GTS available for sale at list cost....
so is waiting 2+ years part of the allure of purchase?

I’m still seeing 10k overs for the worst spec’d cars (targa’s though).
Never really kept an eye on coupes and cabs so not sure on prices of those.
Market definitely cooled though, no doubt in part due to interest rates.
Be interesting to see if the long delivery times in new cars starts to fall as a result of cancelled orders/peoples economic worries. Never really kept an eye on coupes and cabs so not sure on prices of those.

Hi All,
I was due my 992 GTS in December but its has been pushed back to Feb 23.
Do you think I should wait until the 992.2 comes out? Are there any ideas when this might be?
I'm in no rush for the car.
Cheers
I'm potentially in the same boat. I have a 991.2 GTS that i am still enjoying and my estimated date for a 992 GTS is Sep 2023 and i imagine that is very optimisitc. I know the GTS is typically towards the end of the production cycle but still makes me think it might be worth waiting. It's hard to know what to do as like you, I'm not in a hurry.I was due my 992 GTS in December but its has been pushed back to Feb 23.

when is the slot? (be prepared for it to slip, lots of delays!)
Nice spec, you dont need power steering plus, thats for people who like lighter steering when parking......
Youre missing the most important driving option, RWS, totally changes the car and makes the turning circle that of a London Taxi.
Home link, make sure compatibility, lots dont support it.
Other than that, have you done the PEC day to drive a RWD and 4WD car back to back?
I hated the 4WD, heavier car and felt too safe on cornering, you like clios and chuckability and playfulness, so I'd have had you down as a RWD man.
For me the Aerokit is too try hard on a non GT car, but that one is more a personal preference rather than a bad spec (unlike missing off RWS )
DK (Hi from Cliosport, haven't been on for years but heard you'd ordered one)

Really sorry for missing this reply.
Nice to speak to you again. Hope things are well with you!
Cheers for your suggestions. I have added the RWS and removed the power steering plus. That would annoy me. You're right.
Here is the updated code. What do you think?
The car is delayed by two months but should be here early Feb without any extra delays.

Was offered a RWD GTS this week as someone canceled but it was a summer colour and light on options.
The thinking was I didn't want to be stuck with it taking a loss into the new year potentially as this is looking like a bleak winter.. plus my 4 GTS is due late Q1/early Q2.
Whats everyone's opinions on prices atm? Should have taken it?
