just make sure you spec the leather dash thats pretty much standard spec on every other 992 - looks gopping without
Definitely agree with you on that, I’ve been surprised by how many seem to have been spec’d with the standard interior and can only assume that whoever initially bought the car was unaware that it came with the non-leather dash.

Given its standard on the base and S its very surprising its not part of the standard GTS spec

Porsche pricing wildly confusing some cars have PDK as standard, others its a 2k option, T has a ton of standard spec with no cost choices of items that cost on other 992 variants - very strange indeed.

I am in the same boat, but for clarity what are the options to get this, as some are linked depending on what you optioned before?

I have specced the GTS pack and then added the leather dash & door trim.

For clarity, this is my spec:

Extended leather with racetex and add in the £500 carbon option is I suspect the cheapest way to get a decent looking interior. Personally am not mad keen on the GTS pack and given you have to add the full carbon pack it becomes a lot of money for something I don’t actually really want!

My spec is different as I have leather so the box ticking for leather dash, I think is different. I may also add the leather to the steering column as I saw the plastic one in the PC Aachen 🇩🇪 yesterday and in for a penny in for a pound, etc for the full coverage. Any views on the leatherisation of my spec to cover the dash gratefully appreciated.

i didnt care for the odd coloured parts either,
but just extended leather with racetex on its own gets the black brushed alloy trim, which would be cheapest and properly looks better than the plastic carbon,
or you can spec the no cost leather trim which comes with whitesilver alloy trim

The black brushed trim does look great (I’ll post some photos when I get the chance) and allowed me to do without the coloured stitching and spec guards dials / belts.

What this thread does show you is just how many different ways you can spec the interior and individualise it to suit your taste - brilliant but pricey!

Anyone else keep getting their production pushed back?

Mine was meant to complete production in December. Then end of Jan. Then start of Feb. Then end of Feb now middle of April. Annoying to say the least.

My sales guy said he cannot find out why...

Yes, same issue here. Probably a combination of parts shortages and production scheduling changes, but nobody really knows..!

Out of the blue, I got a call today to say that my gts cab has a build date in May with delivery June.

Wonder if it shall actually be ready for collection then?!

It was indicated that the T I have ordered would if arrived well before the GTS, so possible I have been allocated a cancelled order build spot.

I’m also waiting on a cab slot. Albeit I’ve “only” been waiting since Sept 22. What spec are you going for out of interest?

I’ve had mine for a week now and you won’t be disappointed. One option I would recommend is the RAS.

Love the carmine red BTW

My code if you’re interested PPYVR9C8

whilst I dont mind carmine red, cannot stand the difference in reds between the carmine red paint and the guards red calipers, so would have to go black calipers if steel brakes, but ideally pccbs. Also agree, would spec RAS.
