How would you spec your 992 GTS?

Interesting Apolo. Based on this I assume this 992GTS Coupe PDK is actually quicker in the real world than a 992GT3 and also a much better rough B road blaster.
0-60 and a 1/4 Mile the 992GTS PDK is about the same as a PDK 992GT3, but the GTS does feel quicker due to the initial kick. Yes you are right whist the GT3 is a brilliant car its very track bias IMO. I think which is the quicker of the 2 across B roads will come to the temp (Cup 2s like a bit of heat) the road conditions and how committed the driver is. But the GTS and Turbo s for me I find much more relaxing to drive on roads. Based on what the C2s were putting out below I would think that the GTS are actuality around 500bhp. Though it does feel like a bit more.https://www.motortrend.com/news/2019-porsche-911-c...

I think a German magazine also found the 992s to be producing 470+ bhphttps://www.motortrend.com/news/2019-porsche-911-c...

Managed to get a March Build C2 GTS..
Having had the 10mm Lowering setup on the 992 Turbo S, i always felt for a everyday it was a had harsh for me.. with this said you can option out the -10mm lowering.. wonder how it will affect the car
I has similar dilemma but decided to go with the 10mm lower set up finally as the helper springs are also removed if the higher setting is chosen. I finally locked down my spec yesterday. Went for the lightweight package after seeing this youtube video. If you like your cars dynamic, sounds like it's a must have option... curious if anyone has had first-hand experience with it?

I would love the LW package, but I need the extra practicality of the rear seats. The seat look amazing. Extra sound always welcome. https://youtu.be/i4fH0n4Wm-s?t=792

It might have 10mm lower but it isn't the same setup as the Turbo S, borrows things like the helper springs, but not as hard. Harder yes, but on this thread people have said it's absolutely fine for a daily, as I worried the same, especially on roads local to me in the English countryside. If you want the suspension to be softer, get a normal Carrera S I think?Having had the 10mm Lowering setup on the 992 Turbo S, i always felt for a everyday it was a had harsh for me.. with this said you can option out the -10mm lowering.. wonder how it will affect the car

Do you have any detail/sources for the differences between GTS and Turbo S suspension setups?Dan 911 said:
Any thoughts on colour please out of these two choices:
Metallic black/black leather and crayon stitching with silver seat belts and white dials
Or
GT Silver/black leather with crayon stitching, silver belts with red dials
I am really torn and like both options
Both metallic black on black / crayon and GT Silver on black / crayon are classic, timeless options. Both "safe" choices. And rightly so: both are very strong combinations. There is no right or wrong. You just have to choose. But one thing that might help you is that GT Silver is less cleaning intensive compared to Black.Metallic black/black leather and crayon stitching with silver seat belts and white dials

Pretty sure I’ve read reviews referring to the new GTS as being more akin to a ‘Junior turbo s’ as opposed to a specced up Carrera S like previous iterations.
I've spent far too much time watching youtube reviews of the GTS. One guy says the GTS is a Junior Turbo. Another says it is a Junior GT3.It is truth that the GTS has a bit of turbo (similar rear suspension, same brakes) and a bit of GT3 (Race-Tex accents, less sound insulation and more fruity exhaust). But it is more accurate to think of the GTS as its own thing. In particular it trades away some of the Turbo's GT vibe with sound insulation removal, -10mm suspension, Race Tex interior. And the GT3 comparison is stretched as it remains a Turbo engine at the end of the day with a very different torque curve, totally different front suspension and no significant extra aero.

This thread is giving me an itch and I wondered if one of you kind people who have ordered could help with a couple of questions?
1. I have a 991.2 GTS currently and adore the sound it makes. Concern is that with more regulations the 992 will be quieter and have less aural theatre. Anybody driven both a 991.2 GTS and 992 GTS that could comment on difference on sound?
2. Is related, as obviously if I could get a test drive I could compare. My local OPC doesn’t have one to test drive - any recommendations of an OPC that does or is everybody ordering without a test drive?
Many thanks for your help in getting me to spend lots of money… 😌

I wanted to go PTS but was told not an option at the moment and would likely be for cars at the end of this year.
That's when I want the car as I want another full year with my GT4 It is now available on the Configurator
Happy to wait till next year to get both
Just need to decide what colour form Violet, Ruby stone, Oak green, Jet Green or a blue (can't remember what it was called )
