Where are all the 997.1 GT3s
Discussion
When I got my 997 GT3 is had some very old Cup2’s on the front and it understeered like a bd. I don’t mean on track or ‘pushing on’, I mean just entering a roundabout at 10-15mph.
Newer tyres and decent geometry are a world of difference.
I was running DSC in mine and liked it, but now it’s on Ohlins which are utterly sublime. Really incredible- you can dial for either road trip or track so easily.

It’s a ducktail - well spotted! You can see it in the distance on the pic of the classic ;-)
Excellent. I don’t think the wing on 996/997.1 GT3s do much, I’ve read about them being designed for ‘zero lift’ as opposed to providing any downforce. Have you noticed any difference in handling on track with the ducktail fitted?RC1 said:

I see the auction is now live, it's fitted with Ohlins and Soul Performance exhaust, "This example has been upgraded with Öhlins Road & Track coilover suspension, and a Soul Performance Products modular competition exhaust system."
Seemingly sold at £60k plus feesEdited by rrroro on Wednesday 14th February 11:50

Possibly good value, but not exactly a cherished car

I understand that when a price for a 'Buy now' sale is shown as sold, it includes fees. (Unlike auctions which are +fees to the final bid).https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2008-porsche-9...
