Anyone had a GTS allocation this month?

Do they usually come through on a set date or is it entirely random?
They are generally three months ahead. So June builds for July delivery are being released. Numbers allocated change each month but ramp up before the summer factory shut down.

Thanks.
Still waiting for an allocation. Looks like I may end up with a post June production in which case I’m told the last price will apply and any further increase.

I’m wondering if as part of German sanctions on Russia and them not shipping cars and car parts to them, then perhaps this will mean more allocations and cars being produced for other regions like the UK?

I’ve finally got my slot, but this time I’m not going to make any late changes so not to risk a bump. My last one was a September build so I got the next years spec, only added tyre heat sensors but better than nothing.

Good news getting ŷour allocation. Mine seems as far away as ever. I wonder how the ship fire which destroyed 1100 will hit us. Bound to be lots of them screaming for an early replacement. The chip shortage seems likely not to ease as previously hoped for.

I’m waiting for a cab 2wd allocation and I’m told that there’s fewer of those being issued. Don’t know if that’s true.

The GTS are a far bigger cash cow for Porsche and folks (guilty as charged) are adding way more options on them. Standard cars I’d imagine in be pushed back.

Got the good news this morning that my C2S has received a build slot for early July - delivery end of the month. What a weight off my mind to finally have some positive news! I assume I'm caught by the price rise of course with the July build?
All in it will have taken 14 months from the day I ordered it to delivery. Not sure I could go through it again smile

Thats excellent news. I am in the same boat, early July build date. Hopefully will get the car by the end of July. However if the delivery is delayed by a couple of weeks and the car is delivered in mid August - would you want to wait another couple of weeks and get a 72 plate car or rather not waste 2 precious summer weeks when one could be driving!

I read on another website that Porsche had stopped production of all models save for 992 and these are due to cease v soon
Does anyone know if that’s correct or not as not had anything from Porsche about this ?

A simple Google search would present that the production in Leipzig has been suspended. This will impact macan and panamera.

The longer the issues continue the more likely it will impact other models.

A lot of cars built in Germany utilise parts from Ukraine.

This should help other regions and allocations in my opinion and my dealer felt the same.

If porsche can't get the parts, surely, the cars wont get built. The fact Russia are no longer being supplied wont change that. The Ukraine supply the wiring harnesses. So untill a new supply source is established a delay is enviably in my opinion.

Interested what those in this thread, whether sticking to their order, had it delivered, or are thinking of getting out the queue, what alternatives they would consider?

Not a lot out there that is equivalent in my eyes

Production is halted in Leipzig, so currently not affecting the 911 as I understand it. I guess time will tell and having spoken to my dealer yesterday he's not aware of any delays on my 911. Fingers crossed as waited long enough just to get an allocation.

Good news, however, production is severely affected by the war:

Was this a press release? Because if so, it has since been removed and I cannot find it anywhere apart from somewhere in Rennlist where I believe it originated from.

Ok, so if I read that carefully, then to me it suggests the non GT 911s are not impacted, because they're continuing to be produced until 31st March, and this bulletin suggests it is just for the month of March where production is being stopped. Have I read that correctly or am I missing something?

I read it that 911 production stops on 31 Mar due to supply chain disruptions.

I have read on another forum that the wiring harness comes from Ukraine. I suspect more pars are involved.
