Well my lock in date is next Friday so I’m not confident. Salesman said still showing on the system as correct dates. I’m actually thinking if it slips 8 weeks I could get the aerokit.

Yes totally acceptable but obviously no guarantees that it wouldn’t be put back further
You have a prod allocation, that is infinitely better than most of us still waiting for a slot.
Good luck with the last stretch.

Thanks Pivo, I will wait it out as already waited long enough. I was given a slot in February for July 7th and I though that was too far away. Anyway 21st of July it is for now. I am getting front ppf and rest ceramic coating which was booked for 7th August - that all will need to be altered too. But hey ho..

Unfortunately, They are so oversubscribed with forward orders, some cars getting cancelled, first world issues for us all that are waiting for cars to be built, as I've said before, best just be patient, enjoy the process as best you can knowing your car will come through built by the best in the game

Dealer just informed me today that my car’s completion date has been put back from 8th of July to 24th of August. Can’t deny it’s the first time I have actually felt seriously pi$$ed off with it!
Anyone else had similar completion dates that have been pushed back also?

Yes, have a look at the 992 GTS thread and the 911 Carrera S (992) availability thread. Sadly, quite a few of us now in the same boat frown

My dealer informed me the same. Build date moved from 7th July to 25th August.

Apparently it’s only going to get worse. They have far to many forward sold orders, they can’t cope.

Think I am about to pull the plug on my order - ordered in Dec 21 told 4th in line and should arrive Dec 22 or Jan 23 but was told the other day still 4th in queue and likely to be another 18 months

I also placed my order in Dec 21. At the time I was 4th in the queue and I am now the 3rd, so 18-months sounds plausible.

My OPC has not received any C2 or C2S in the last 6 months. I moved because of an order cancellation. I am mentally prepared for 992.2 C2S in 2024. If it comes sooner, it’s a bonus.

Ordered a C2 Dec 21, was originally told Q1/Q2 2023, but god knows now. I am now hoping I might get a chance of a 992 T or a 992.2.

I don't want to keep repeating myself so sorry in advance, guys honestly sit tight on your orders the GTS is probably one of the most over subscribed cars of the moment along with TurboS. I have a touring due to go into build end of next week, as of yesterday its still showing scheduled for build.

MeisterH I think the issue is some us of aren’t waiting for a GTS or GT3, just a C2!

Silly me! was on another thread where the GTS guys were saying to exact same thing in regards to delayed cars.. Unfortunately, C2/C4 are not the big earners for P so the lumpy stuff get priority

Are the cars all built ont he same line? I know the platforms are able to be built on the same line. Was wondering how this affects build slots? If C2's get less priority against GTS models would they also get bumped down the list for high spec boxsters etc.

Is lower spec models getting bumped for higher spec ones actually true?
