My car has now moved from build code V200 to V250 with completion date of 9th of Sep.
Hopefully this means there will be no further delays! Original completion was 8th of Jul.
Where did you get this information from, I get occasional e-mails from Porsche and chase my salesman but nothing as sophisticated as thisHopefully this means there will be no further delays! Original completion was 8th of Jul.
This time I asked my sales guy for an update and he sent me a screen shot of their sales management system. (Your chap will be able to send this to you - so just ask for it). This showed the details of the cars build status via the V codes and estimated completion date. My take is when the car reaches V250 from V200 it is now fixed for build with a more certain completion date. When it enters production the code will change to V260 and when completed V300. If you put Porsche build V Codes into Google people have documented the whole process.

Thanks for confirming.Mine went to V250 yesterday . Hopefully not long now .
I ordered a 991 Cabriolet in November 2021, the estimated delivery was May 2023.
Called Porsche Guildford to see how it was going. The salesman has left. The person I spoke to basically laughed at me that I would get it in May and said they never quote delivery dates. I pointed out it was written on my order!
There were 9 on order in total, last year they got 3.
I was passing today so dropped in. I am apparently no 3 and they get their next allocation in November which ( it was not that clear) seems to be for the year with some possible top ups if they are lucky.
As such I will apparently get my car in 2023.
The current lead time quoted is 24 months.
Hope this is useful to someone.
Overall I like Porsche cars but their services is poor ( I have asked Porsche West London for a service quote 3 times so far without reply) and Porsche W London never called me back when I wanted a car so I went to Guildford. Whilst not the dealers fault per se how Porsche cannot know when they will delivered an ordered car which has a deposit on it is a bit of a mystery to me but given I don't run the place my view is not really that important!

Apologies for selective quoting @Jeremy-75qq8 I also find it hard to believe that the dealer would take a deposit and couldn’t secure build slot with a date. We are in the 3rd decade of the 21 century and most cars are built to order.
I am on my 3rd Porsche and I can’t get over the lack of visibility of their production schedule.
