992 allocations to the dealers

Yes, standard procedure, unless you specified C2T as an option on your order form.

I read the other day that 911 has 21 derivatives, some for queuing and others by invitation only.

I guess it depends on number of things, but my OPC said they would give me the choice given my wait and that I have other cars in order with them.

The whole process to me is a mess.

Your order should be sent to Porsche and dealer allocations have noting to do with it.

Porsche then know they have 1000 on order and make 100 a week so 10 weeks delay ( if only ).

Put my build order in on March 12, 2022 for a 911 s. Just spoke with my dealer and was told they didn't get any 911 allocations for March. I am going on 12 plus months waiting on a Carrera S allocation. Is anyone else waiting on base or s models for 12 months or more? Any feedback from anyone who took delivery already on an S or base model in regard to how long they waited for a slot is much appreciated.

I saw 3-4 being handed over at Guildford yesterday (not Carrera S though, I think they were Targas and C4GTS)

I ordered a Carrera S in July 2021 and due to the lack of allocations of base and S Carreras I ended up taking the dealers 2023 GTS allocation and took delivery on Monday.
During handover I was told that my car was the only GTS they were getting this year so unfortunately the long wait for new cars doesn’t seem to be over just yet.

I hope something comes up for you soon.

@rofadel - have a look at the “911 from Order to Delivery” thread which is being managed by @Pivo to track the waiting time to allocation , build and delivery of the whole range of models..

I couldn’t say for sure but the 2 used GTS at my dealers did look pricey and not far off list.

I ordered a Turbo S Cab on 11/11/22 - was told it will be minimum of 18 months.
