Now it is my turn to ask you whether you are serious. None of these soloutuions do look good. I do not question the quality of the products you have mentioned, but the look of them.
Do you honestly think any of these are well integrated?
I don't find any of those remotely offensive aesthetically. Do you honestly think any of these are well integrated?

They may not be aesthetically offensive to you but they 100% look aftermarket. That’s the OPs point I believe?
I completely agree. Have no interest in an aftermarket looking headset in my 997, this should be a nice upgrade for the PCCM unit I have now, will just wait for a review first Tobermory said:
That's ridiculous. Just add a bluetooth treating adaptor for £150, keep your PCM looking original and your good to go, with full integration into the car telephone module and handsfree operation using SIRI. All wireless.
I have that currently, but it would be advantageous to be able to use an up to date nav, if its not slow and clunky I'll stump up for one.shantybeater said:

It is ruined by the fact one has to connect via a phone cable. You’d think in this day and age they could have made it support Apple CarPlay wirelessly.
I think it’s a big let down.
Agreed, especially if it's the type of USB port which is being phased out. The latest iPhones use the smaller USB-C ports for their charging cables so an older port will seem quite old school in a few years' time and really age this PCCM.I think it’s a big let down.
Strasse in Leeds tell me it should be available soon and they will be able to fit it with warranty.
I think the main reason i will go for this over other options is the bit below>>
>>>>Depending on the equipment in your vehicle, the functions of the multifunction steering wheel or the individual memory function for storing personal vehicle settings are supported. Other functions include the trip computer with lots of useful driving data and onboard navigation with Porsche-specific points of interest (POI) with route guidance in 2D or 3D. Viewing the navigation in the multifunction display of your vehicle is also made possible.
I like the idea of keeping all the functionality of the car systems. I will regret the disappearance of a single slot CDplayer though so may need to add a multi disc to the frunk. I don't play music off my phone. The sat nav upgrade will be a huge bonus though.
Potentially this is a game changer for me. I am thinking of buying one of the last petrol engined Boxsters before electrification but may now either keep the 911S or buy a 997 cabriolet equipped with this newer tech. A much cheaper option than a new car. I dont want to seem soft but my 991.2 was basically too fast and too fat for Derbyshire, but its interaction with technology has been missed a little.
