Has to be one of the top most cynical specials from Porsche who are exploiting every avenue for profit, limited edition to get the prols fighting for their profit but in honesty who the hell would be seen dead driving round in that thing, looks ridiculous....IMHO biggrin

You going for PTS?
going through the PTS catalogue is always an exciting process. toyed with greens and then some other bright colours.
I am looking at a car I can drive regularly, so speccing with 18 way seats etc and a non shouty colour...
I then saw grainy pics of a GT silver metallic Dakar on some Rennlist forum.... suits the car really well....

Try doing this in your GTS or GT3!

GT silver looks good.

I think i'd go for sport seats, especially if you are going to use it off road. The buckets would be a real back breaking choice if you are going to use it properly.

I have been told that there is no PTS or Roughroads options available on the current (June) build slots in the UK.

But who ever will ?

And if so where ?

Is this a serious off-road rally car ?

The ride height to me just makes it look pimped ... ruggedising a city car / SUV might have some merit but a 911 ?

Very true, that most will never leap their cars, however the "pimped" suspension and "ruggedising" is much more than just a Citroen Cactus lifestyle illusion.

Given the appalling state of most UK roads, I can honestly expect that a Dakar driver will have more fun more often, than a GT3 driver in the real world, let alone some masochist who thinks that an RS is a good idea for UK roads ........ if someone were to take a stop watch out, I'd have my money on the Dakar across all but the smoothest of Welsh valley roads.

No problem with RSs on UK roads in my experience. I must be a masochist.

Fair point however, if I was in a Dakar, unlike my RS 4, it wouldn’t be on Cup 2 tyres.
