Brilliant !

Talking of hill climbing, I’m doing Prescott in June - really enjoyed it the last time I did it - wasn’t very good though - also can’t believe how quickly it’s all over - such a short course smile
Try going up the hill this year…

Not sure that the strict number cap was needed in the end - lots more room & super well organised and as such, more could have been accommodated in hindsight / next time. Thanks again smile
No, not from a parking point of view, the logistics pain then moves on to queuing / ordering / cooking.

It’s a fairly big risk for the venue - I tell them 100 cars are turning up, they get enough pork in for 125 people and say only 60 cars show up… or even the other way, I say 100 cars and 200 show up..

I think Region 9 have had 90 odd cars there at one point or another, so space isn’t the issue - commitment is.
There is a PCGB big even at the end of July but that’s ticketed and that’s the other option - you pre purchase your “coffee and breakfast roll”.

My next meet up there is currently planned for a date to be confirmed in July. So I’ve got some options to explore.

It maybe short, but try getting a time close to the class records, soon see how lardy and slow these modern gt cars are,and advise wearing a nappy to save your seatssmile;)I think there is a special parking place at prescott for Auberginessmile

Class records fro the single seat cars at hillclimbs are mad.

For that matter, the speed the old single-seat, chain-driven Edwardian cars (GN specials) go up Shelsley is batst crazy.

I wish I could blame it on being in a modern GT car - unfortunately though, I was in this - will get the dog to drive it next time smile

Great meet, lovely venue. Nice to put some faces to names.

Look forward to the next.

ATB,

Mark

PS Anyone here that go to the Fairmile Pub meets, Cobham organised by 911uk? Local to me, so hope to get to the next in April?

Just while I am working out the details for "Renn-devous 2" a question to you all...

Given the location would you prefer a Saturday or a Sunday next time? - I cant promise I'll be able to deliver what the masses say, its down to when we can be accommodated, but if I get the choice...

I spend a good deal of my weekends getting muddy, trying not to crash bicycles. Sunday is the bigger day for that, but I can go with flow for meet.
