How long before a £100k 992 GTS?

Appreciate this is pistonheads, but manual gearbox will put a lot off.
That said, its 2 years old with 11000 miles on it, was probably 127.5k new, so its lost 22.5k in 2 years. Hardly a disaster.
All the above said, 115k is still where the nice one's start.
It looks like a nice one, decent spread of extras including leather dash which if ommitted is the killer. That said, its 2 years old with 11000 miles on it, was probably 127.5k new, so its lost 22.5k in 2 years. Hardly a disaster.

Personally I'd only buy one with a manual gearbox.
They would have been 109k new at the time of registration, does that one really have 18.5k of options on it?

Unless it’s on sor, it’s lost at least another 10k as a trade in. Granted trade price isn’t retail, so you are correct! That said, its 2 years old with 11000 miles on it, was probably 127.5k new, so its lost 22.5k in 2 years. Hardly a disaster.

No, it probably has 10k of options if that. GTS interior, BOSE, upgraded lights, and a few other things.Personally I'd only buy one with a manual gearbox.

Re the manual, its not coincidence that the cheapest cars are manuals. Whilst 'purists' may like them, most buyers want PDK.

Add them up, it definitely has nearer £18k of options, it’s well specced. Maybe you’re right and people are actually put off by it being manual, especially as a daily proposition.Re the manual, its not coincidence that the cheapest cars are manuals. Manual will definately be restricting the market. As said, its not coincidence that the cheapest ones on the market are manuals.

I think it looks ok spec-wise and agree with the sentiment that the manual is probably holding it back. It does feel like we will see a sub £100k 992 GTS by Christmas though.
991.2 GTS starting to look expensive by comparison (although I still prefer the looks over the 992).
I have no doubt at all that there will be 100k GTS's available at Christmas, but still maintain what is the issue with that ? They are 2 years old now, so its just depreciation, and at a much more favourable rate still to many other cars.991.2 GTS starting to look expensive by comparison (although I still prefer the looks over the 992).
I had a 997 GTS (coupe), then a 991 GTS (coupe) and now a 992 GTS (Targe) and whilst the 991 was a lovely looking car, the 992 is just such a step up in performance, comfort, technology and it feels so much sure footed in less than ideal driving conditions (ie wet/cold). I'd pick the 992 all day long, and then I'd probably go back to the 997 if I were honest.

Definitely not an issue as far as I’m concerned! More of a positive as it means I could get into a 992 GTS for close to what 991.2s were going for 3 or 4 months ago (and there are still some dealers trying to get £90k+ for 991.2s).
Asking prices will have to soften further - 1) they have built too many GTS relative to other 992 models as they saw it as an opportunity to cash in during ‘restricted supply’ days (see also Turbo S); and 2) the delta between trade and retail at the moment is just too great for the savvy buyer. And that’s not even taking into account the exorbitant finance costs for buyers who don’t want to / aren’t in a position to buy outright.

Looks a nice car that one. Proper spec for someone that doesn't need rear seats, but can't get a GT3 allocation, lightweight package, buckets, rear wheel steer.Manual 23 plate 102k

Shame they didn't go for black calipers as would have looked so much better, but could be done after relatively cheaply (which I definately would).
Again, manual will put plenty off.

Goes to show, price something realistic and there are still buyers out there. I’m surprised that the GTS prices haven’t put more pressure on the 992 s yet. There is becoming a bit of a crossover where the latter is actually as much or even more expensive and for older cars.
For the vast majority of users who want a 911 as an everyday car the S is much more sought after than the GTS due to the over stiff setup. That statement is straight from my OPCDMC2 said:

Yes, but you can option the GTS with the normal S suspension (with around half the spring stiffness) and there have been the odd one for sale that did like this one:https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

I've never driven a coupe GTS, so can't really comment on its stiffness, however the one you link with the -10mm suspension would mean its the same as my Targa, which I have no issues with day to day. Its obviously firm, but its a sports car and in normal or sports mode goes over speed bumps as reasonable speed without issue. In sports plus it seems to catch them a tad more.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
Why anyone would want an 'S' over a 'GTS' I genuinely have no idea, but each to their own.
I do love the green on the coupe, and the black capilers on this one makes it look so much better than the previous one linked, for what was a circa £300 option.
