You'd have to be crackers to pay that but each to their own.
Not sure a bargain and not a “ holy grail “ but they still look good !https://www.instagram.com/p/Cs33Crws-NA/?igshid=MT...

Amazing that, I asked where the blue ones are and one pops up for sale a few days after for £140k ??
Indeed - any other colour you want ?! Ideally the car would have buckets and lift as a minimum.

I would happily buy on condition and as long as the price reflects the current market. I’ve never been one to rush, let’s see what becomes available, I’m going to go up and look at the black car a jzm but concerned it doesn’t have lift.

I think your stumbling block might well be the “ price reflects the current market “ bit as everyone will have their own view of that. Ideally the car would have buckets and lift as a minimum.
I had to chuckle at the “ not to rush “ bit too - how many years have you been looking ?
That black one looks good but as you say no lift ( which I certainly needed to use a fair bit ) and no idea of how many owners previously but a low mileage obvs.
The spec is also “ pretty basic “ ie the options list was left well alone.

Looks a beauty. Something about the earlier 911 gt cars in Carrara white, it shows the lines perfectly.
Thanks - originally I was looking for anything but white as I have had so many white cars... But after seeing multiple black/silver and a couple reds it stuck out the most to me. Plus, it was the best condition/original car I could find which was worth more to me than a rare colour.alscar said:

Also, what was the registration/spec and vin of your RB car? Feel free to share via PM if you can? Its an extra one on the list - three more added today...I had to chuckle at the “ not to rush “ bit too - how many years have you been looking ?

Mine was on a private plate from new GT03 xxx when sold back which I retained. Chassis number ended 1082.

Thanks, do you know what plate it ended up on after? I think I found the advert for your old car on the PearceandDale site but obviously not registration details on there.
Would need to look through old road tax refunds as I think Pearce and Dale put my plate on retention for me at the time. alscar said:

If you manage to find out drop me a PM Assume VIN would have been: WP0ZZZ99ZA(or B)S781082 (1082 would have been quite a late car which is odd as there are some 60 plate cars that are lower VIN but denoted B in the VIN.
Car was first registered 26/02/2010. Denoted A in the vin.

I see the modified 40k miles Riviera blue is now live for sale.
I see he mentions 3 not 4 cars, no idea which car this is for sale as it has a blue cage.
He also mentions his is a holy grail which it isn’t. I see he mentions 3 not 4 cars, no idea which car this is for sale as it has a blue cage.
It’s modified ( lightly ) and not exactly one owner from new with also a fair mileage on it.
There are 3 production cars and one press car so 4 in total.
2 had steels ( mine was one of them ) don’t know offhand what Jonny’s had.
My cage was black as I think the press cars was but I know some opted for blue.
Not for me to say but I think £140k is on the high side but who knows when the next RB one will come up for sale , even assuming it does.

Either way it’s a lovely colour and interesting price.

The Richard Grace Cars car had steels, but a black cage. When they had it for sale it looked immaculate and had around 11k miles. If that’s the same car (hopefully not) it’s been modded, cage replaced or painted, tracked / drifted and used in the snow / salt looking at its current owners instagram.
Either way it’s a lovely colour and interesting price.
The RG car was Jonny’s and knowing him it would have been absolutely immaculate with that mileage. Either way it’s a lovely colour and interesting price.
Mine when it was sold had 8000 miles.
Phil’s car is not the same car.
There is a pic somewhere with mine and Jonnys together at Althorp when the previous owner had his.
I still miss mine but had a large photo poster made of it which remains in my garage !
Colour is lovely but car is £20k more than many other cars with lower owners, mileage and modifications. I have been looking for a GT3 for a few months and the prices confuse me. Visited JZM and had a good chat with Russ and a good look at the 3 997 GT3s in stock. The white one had the best spec and has some nice mods, the black one was basic, very low miles and not sure I liked it in black. The red one was again basic spec but not sure about red from a resale perspective? RPM had a blue one that has just sold and based on this Riviera Blue one it seems like it was a bit of a bargain as only 1 owner from new?
Will keep looking. Maybe the right one at the right price will turn up.
