Shame it was cancelled. I was going to take photos. I’ll try to be at Broadway Tower by 10am or any time you recommend, I don’t have a Porsche unfortunately just a black muddy Vauxhall at the minute. My photos are usually under the same username I have here. Hopefully I can still come down to take photos and forward to you guys when transferred.

If it gets too busy here you will also find some of us at The Piston Club @ The Stag, Alcester Rd, Stratford-upon-Avon B49 6NQ - there's a bike meet on but I'm sure we can get them to budge up a bit wink

Thanks for rearranging the Broadway location but after seeing the NBS event cancellation my wife decided we could do a dog walk followed by breakfast instead.

Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for organising the venue change at such short notice Slippy', worked well, a good turn out and nice to put some faces to names. smile

There'll be loads more photos but here's your starter for 10... I'd guess there were 25-30 cars there.

Glad some made it, I too had made alternate arrangements once I saw it was cancelled so couldn’t get to the rearranged location.

Hope to make the next one.

Well, firstly thank you to Nurburgsingh for doing all the hard work and getting the meet arranged, only to for it to go pear shaped yesterday.

But just as big a thank you to all those that made the effort to show up this morning. It was greatly appreciated.

I didn’t count the numbers, but I estimate close to 50 of you must have attended today, so I think that’s a pretty impressive turnout all things considered.

I emailed 51 of you last night, unfortunately the PH accounts of at least 12-14 of you who’d planned on attending, weren’t accepting emails, and after I’d successfully emailed 50 of you, PH’s email system probably thought I was spamming the remaining accounts, and wouldn’t allow me to send mails to them.

I was the last to leave this morning, having met the operations manager of the venue to discuss the possibility of organising a mid-summer meet either this year or next.

My thoughts being an after hours meet close to mid-summers day would hopefully ensure warmer, better weather, and allow for more cars, and a pleasant evening for all.

Keeping the doors open would however mean the venue would need to charge to cover the staff costs.

If this could be arranged, I suggested we’d want drinks, both hot, cold and alcoholic, along with food of some description ?

If you could let me know what sort of food/snacks you’d like for such a meet, do please make your suggestions, and I can then go back to venue and ask if they’re able to provide them and what the cost per car/head would be.

Once again, a big thank you to all today’s attendees, your support was very much appreciated.

Slippy - Many thanks for stepping in like you did - sounds like a good few people still made it out and enjoyed what looked like a sunny morning.

Thanks for sorting it out. I was first there before the cafe opened. Slightly embarrassed that I live locally (ish) and I'd never been there before. Beautiful location.

I'd be happy to commit to paying for an event one evening, but equally happy to try again at Cotswold Barn on another Sunday.

(I say this as a Porsche owner but no longer a 911 owner, let alone an RS, so my voice doesn't count for much smile )
