Nice to have our own thread.
My starter for ten:
I sold my TVR T350c and bought a 56 Cayman S. I'll probably use the same Indy for servicing. When I told him this he was fine but then mentioned two year service intervals. With the TVR I'd probably been in to see him six or seven times a year.
So far the Cayman has been great. Not so hardcore as the Tiv but muc more useable.

I think Spyder owners should actually get their own sub-section.

I mean, fancy having to rub shoulders with the standard Boxster hoi poloi. :shudder:

Reminds me of the Lotus Cortina boys who thought they had a Lotus!

Heartily agree that thise who like to have a wigwam on their car should be kept separate.

They are, after all, 'special' cars for 'special' people.

Had the chance of a run on a private road.
My Cayman is a Tiptronic so clearly suitable for my age group. I was surprised and delighted that pushed pretty hard she held fourth gear until 130. Eased up into 5th and kept on going until we ran out of track.
These are fantastic cars!

Just because you origami fans cannot understand the far superior 981 you start throwing insults around!

Anyway, where did I leave my curling tongs?

They're in your boot, next to your peroxide mix.

Proportionally to the number of vehicles sold, our ratio of posting deserves its own special place...

I choose a late 2008 Cayman Tiptronic too - I think I am probably in the age group you mention!!
I tested a S, but it scared the s**t out of me eek
