Question for those with spyders - air con - what's life like without it?
You had to go and ask! This will carry on for sometime and you will be no the wiser at the end of it.Here's my contribution
I didn't have AC in my previous Spyder and 95% of the time it wasn't an issue. It would have been very useful a few times in France when I was in torrential rain on an otherwise hot day and it does clear the window quicker in the morning (Yes 911R I know a minor inconvenience ).
I do have AC in my current Spyder but have used it maybe three times in a year (same reasons above wet but warm days and clearing window).
So nice but not even close to being a deal breaker.

Mine packed up on the hottest day last year and driving a spyder from london to cheshire in a traffic jam was pretty unpleasant. Likely only switch it on very occasionally but on that occasion I want it. Timbo_Mint said:

What time of year did you go? I ask because I just bought a 964 C2 with no AC but sunroof. Just wondering if I should avoid the summer and only do Euro hoons in the spring / autumn.
