Spotted a white 16 plate spyder yesterday in Leatherhead going the opposite way to me in my GT silver Spyder to late to wave, anyone on here?

For anyone interested, I was in Porsche Mid Sussex earlier today and they were just placing on sale a Black 987 Spyder, Manual, Bucket Seats, 6000 mile/2011 (I think). £51500 I believe. Looks like a nice example.

Just checking in .... 95,000 miles on mine - loving every mile.

The first and only problem occurred recently, seized PSE actuator - Porsche wanted either £1500 for the pse kit or £3000 for a whole new exhaust and would not give me the 987.2 actuator part number.

Found the part number for the 997 item myself, gave it to Porsche and bought a new one for £83 - fitted for £24 by my local Bosch garage - all sorted.

It would.

But up at £49,500 it appears.

Still, pretty high though, and it's a PDK. But does have lowish milage, buckets and wheels.

That's impressive.

And I thought it was only BMW who didn't give out part numbers anymore?!!

I don't know what you are looking at DS 240 but if you look at the mid sussex web site the car is listed as I said originally, manual, 6000 miles at £51500

no list for that car would have been about £60k but similar specd cars at the end of 2011 preregd delivery miles sold for about £45-50k

black is not a favourite colour on a spyder either they tend to hang around , that cars only saving grace is the low miles and xenons but it will be below £50k before long and most likely drop to mid 40s before it sells

the trims like the classic people have ordered on the 981, not for me, nor is a black car.

yes the bottom half is grey, you still get a dogs knob dash though !
some people love red so some one will buy it and some one did spec it.

Big fan of the red in the 981 Spyder , it always looks crap in pictures but in real life is a deep rich , Lux colour - works really well with GTSM , Agate and Black. Also the 981 lower area and steering wheel in Alcantara work much better on the new model - all IMHO of course smile
