It sounds a good spec, i am just waiting for an email with pictures and a price. There is one at 911 virgin that looks good but i want one with spyder wheels and buckets. One also at OPC bristol but a lot of money and not the spec i am after.
KMF,If Chris's spyder is up for sale then I would jump at it. He keeps his cars immaculate and you would not be dissapointed.
Chris will let you know more info on the car but the spec is great and he is a top gent. We are both on Scotish Elise's and we both cancelled our V6 orders for Spyders.
Chris - what are you buying? Not going back to the lotus fold
George
And me, but I could not do it, not even for the V6, it's too toy like and I am to old to get in and out of it. lol
as seen here the driver looks massive in the car and the steering wheel is low down
Done the Exige thing and the V6 offers nothing over the one I had for what I would use it for.

these are my personal opinions for ME not wanting one. nothing more, so enjoy the car it's great to see them on the road.
I have had 2 test drives in them and did not gel with it.
I would like a late model cup 260 though if I had the room and cash to run yet another car.
And I would have one were it not for the Spyder, The Spyder is a very hard car to let go of, and I know I would regret it,

I would definitely miss mine too. I had it from new. It's fantastic for what it is. My RS is double the cost when optioned up and is not double the car.as seen here the driver looks massive in the car and the steering wheel is low down

Thanks for that, I hadn't seen that. I'm not looking for nearly as much for mine.
Hi Chris, have I seen your car parked behind Riverside Drive? If so, you're brave / committed / crazy * (* delete as appropriate) to be using it on a daily basis in Aberdeen. Does look nice but is much better without the roof.

Not my car! Mines tucked up in a cosy garage a bit south of Aberdeen. I've been told there is another in the area but I've never seen it.(* delete as appropriate) to be using it on a daily basis in Aberdeen. Does look nice but is much better without the roof.
any of you lucky Spyder owners have a part number for the RS60 Instrument Surround Delete? see below link
thanks

Sorry rOb, can't help you with that.
There were some astonishing contract hire deals on M5s recently, have to say I was quite tempted as my daily driver is a 2006 525i. If there was ever a 2 cars into 1 solution, it is an attractive proposition but I'm hoping to hang on to my Spyder for a while now. I particularly enjoy the contrast too.

Just done the deal! Very exciting - I love the 5 series - the only car I have ever kept for 10 years! I would love to keep the Spyder as well. Let's see what happens!

Congratulations - it's good to get excited about a new toy at Christmas time! Mine will be 8 years old in a few months and on so many levels it is the best car I have ever had. It has only had routine servicing and tyres and is still on its original brakes. Straight 6 BMW petrol engine is completely old fashioned these days but so refined.
