I might have it if you don't... Warranty isn't really to much of a worry, especially with such low mileage.

I'd be listing at £50k if it were me
Lol. Ok.. it's yours for £49,995 without even having to haggle wink
2 weeks ago I would have said yes ! I'm still tempted and I've already got one !

2 have sold recently for mid £50's , admittedly with a little less miles 5/6k , but still.

I'm sure yours will go pretty quickly and I suspect to a trader as there's still room for a bit of profit on it I think . Particularly if they get it a couple of hundred miles south .

My 981 Spyder is going on Monday. It's an amazing car, but I've managed to get an allocation for a GT3 so I need to 'make room'. It's not been an easy decision.

nice

987.2 Spyder and 991.2 GT3 will be a nice garage.

it's a very easy decision as you can always sell the GT3 and buy another Spyder and pocket £50k at the same time.

Gratuitous last pic from the bottom of the garden.

After taking the pic I put it back in the garage then thought I should check that the roof fitted and all the bits were where I left them. Got it fitted in the end but it was a bit of a faff!! smile

Unless you do it regularly you forget the procedure....yes a bit of a faff but worth it .Not any better with the 981 .At least you don't need to take the hood off to get into the boot with the 987 .
I am sure he will be round to show it off after he gets it .

So went to check out a spyder 987 a little while back with bucket seats. My wife sat in drivers seat and said it was too low. I don't think she'll be driving it much but thought I better ask if these seats have any height adjustment possibilities at all?

Nope. No height adjustment on those buckets. However, my wife drives it a lot and she's not so tall. She manages to find a good position to drive. She does NOT like the LWBS in the 981 Spyder and won't drive that car.

Glad to help. Good luck with the purchase. It would be the last car I would ever sell. They are pretty special.

You could look out for one with the DFS chairs as quite a few had then certainly more comfortable on a long journey .The buckets do seem the most popular and must have ...but despite what some say do not suite all sizes .
I do not think you can add spacers to raise the frame up ... the 981 with the 918 seats are high adjustable but come without heaters .TBO have no heaters in the 987 not an issue with the alcantara .

Thanks Woodysnr.

Buckets for me I think - mrs would only have driven rarely so can't let it influence me :-)
