Size matters... My Spyder, perfect last week for threading 600 miles of B roads in mid Wales... We few are so lucky to have these brilliant cars... (Before and after pic - as you can see...!)

Lovely car
Thanks mate. Think it might be! It's taxed until the end of this month and, if not sold, I will pull the ad and SORN the car.

The 718 rear really doesnt look as nice as the 981 in either Spyder or GT4 form for me.

Brakes and wheels suggest the chassis might be a bit closer to the GT4 this time around?

Larger rear disks, same as fronts? Maybe using PCCB callipers and 350mm all round?

Always curious why we now get lots of "posed" pictures. These cars will have been pounding round Nardo private test facility all summer and with maybe just some winter testing to go.

No interior shots showing gear-lever and no comment from "sky" on engine noise; pre-announcement marketing at its best..

We are most definetly going to see at Geneva 03/18 now! I think it looks better than 981 might go Spyder this time instead of gt4 on release!

My thoughts exactly. These are staged pre-release pics and so I think the GTS front bumper may stay for the actual car.

Quite a lot of 'want' for me with this car. The GT4 front styling would seal the deal, IMHO. Would choose this over the GT4.

Where's the middle radiator gone to cool the flat 6 or is it a Flat 4 Turbo out back furious

For the 981 Spyder all spy and pre-release shots had the GTS rear and then they changed it to match the GT4 on launch... I think they’ll make them the same again.... sports design front bumper has been a production part for ages which is why it looks finished, they just took it off the shelf.

Same for me really. To my eye the Sport design bumper here doesn’t look aggressive enough for the Spyder. I’ve been itching to buy something new, but can’t find anything in the Spyder’s price bracket that appeals nearly as much. If they change that front end and it has 6 cylinders, they can take my money now.

Yep.

Mind you, I would have to be given the chance to even order...then finding the money in order for them to take it. Ha ha. Pretty sure if the former happened, the latter would not be a problem...perhaps getting the OK from the OH might be a hurdle... biggrin

Think looks great with the more aggressive GT4 front and with a NA six, they can have my money now.
