Anyone have an idea of how many of each colour were produced? (referring to the 981 Spyder).. I'm on the look out for either an Agate or a black car with buckets and ideally a relatively high spec.. Would be interesting to see the stats if anyone has access to them.
I've recently purchased Agate Grey/Buckets/Ceramics but I've promised seller (absolute gentleman) first refusal when I'm done with it!Many thanks to all of you.......reading this thread convinced me to pull the trigger and join the gang. The passion of ownership struck me quite soon but me being me I sat up one night and had to read every page.....which from memory was about 431 at the time!
First 981 I've owned so have nothing to compare it to but it sure ticks a lot of boxes........wow what a car.
IMHO it's a mini Super car but for a fraction of the price. I really don't think there is a better proportioned car on the market and how can n/a flat 6 not put a smile on your face.....thank you once again to each and every one of you X

Hopefully we’ll all get to drive these special cars again sometime soon.

Took the Spyder to local farm shop on Saturday for ‘essential supplies’ and with the sun shining & roof down for a few isolated miles I managed to forget what it is we all find ourselves in right now......
Then the guilt crept in as I stood in the queue separated by 4m gaps and thought maybe I should have used another less conspicuous car.... guilt was short lived when another chap turned up in his 458!!! We still need to collect food!

I took my 981 spyder out to deliver food to my dad . He is an hour round trip away .so was a welcome trip out and brief distraction in my life.
One of my best friends was taken into hospital 4 days ago with this horrible virus. The update yesterday was not good.
Keeping praying for him.

Thank you........I know Agate is understated and not for all but for me this car ticked all my boxes and kinda goes a little more under the radar.....if that's possible in a Spyder! Hopefully we’ll all get to drive these special cars again sometime soon.
Greetings
Any of you wise (old?) owls got any thoughts on front plates?..........PPF'd car without drilled number plate mount.......got static at the mo but its doesn't sit right..........yes me being a bit fussy..........are vinyl easy to fit yourself/easily removed?

Easy to fit, potentially not so easy to remove...
