I’ve asked JZM they said they can out a Remus on? What do the manifolds do? Yours sounds good but is that the plenum change?

Power point in the centre console under the armrest stays live use that one for the CTEK.
I read this before on the other forum so banked on it wink
Although i have just ordered the extension cable as I like the idea of it being fixed to the wall and just drape the cable either between the window and roof if possible for the 12v socket or by using the battery terminal leaving the frunk slightly open.
Truth is I just want to drive it into Europe but sadly it looks like we won't he doing that for some time.

This is an interesting video although I think he could have chosen some nicer roads and a moreinteresting landscape.

Anyone seen a 987.2, 981 and 718 Spyder comparison?

CTEK charger has arrived so that'll be today's task.
Any advice on where to feed the cable inside to the 12v socket?
Connected mine in the frunk . Positive to the battery , negative to a handy earthing thread to the right of the battery as you look from the front. Poke the connector up towards the wipers and it just sits there , pull it up slightly to connect the charger , and when not in use just push it down out of the way . I have my charger fixed to the wall and the cable looped up to the garage roof . It is a 30 second job to disconnect before a drive , and the same to reconnect when the car goes back in the garage.
The correct negative on the vanilla 981 is to the left of the battery as you look from the front. The manual states you should use this for charging so the car's brain can monitor the charger and know what's going on with the battery and its voltage levels.

Personally I think that's all pants and I don't own a manual for mjne. A battery is a battery and it either starts the car or it doesn't. I do however use this correct terminal when I'm connecting my £13 Lidl charger so maybe ive been brainwashed.

Here you can see my vanilla 981 with a jaguar battery safely installed and I'm just testing out my £3 Lidl battery meter.

Thanks, I'm going to give the 12v socket a go once the extension arrives, if that doesn't work i will extend the cable on the battery connections so I can reach the earth mount on the left.
I agree that a battery is a battery but wouldn't want to take the risk of damaging anything.
I have actually charged my previous 981s from the main terminals on the battery and she started up just fine without any issues : whistle:

No buckets but it had the rest of buyers wanted list so you can just get in and enjoy her and stuff the depreciation!!

I think that's the best buy I have seen so far.

True... Gen 2 Boxster S values falling make it an even stronger argument.

But it will never have that rear bodywork or weight so depends what value is placed on that..

I think people have it in their head it’s a Spyder and it holds value differently. Which it does because it’s great marketing.
