No PCM - good luck selling that.
Would not stop me, Spyders are drivers cars and the pcm is the old type so no waze or integration, it’s already out of date, so why have it ! That Yellow on will never sell. I was offered it for 62 about a year ago. The no A/C and no heated seats put me off. It was way lower spec than my GTS at the time. Its gone from dealer to dealer.
The white one at Matt Johnson is a stunning car. If i was looking for one I'd take it. No buckets but for me thats fine, I wouldn't track it, and I'd want heated seats. Sports buckets sit way to high. Lovely motor.

if i was looking at a 987 spyder , PCM would not be a something i would look for. that must be really out of date.. would be all about the usual provenence of the car.
my brother has PCM1(?)nav in his 2004 boxster and it is comical.almost a novelty feature!
Was the PCM an option on the 981? or has the customer asked for this to be excluded, this is the 1st 981 I've seen without one.
So the sports bucket seats sit higher than the standard sports and sports plus seats?, I would have thought they would allow you to sink in at a lower level.

I was offered the yellow Spyder for same money. Yes it got chopped trade to trade doing the rounds. I deliberated hard and for the right money at the time £60k I'd have taken it as the roof would be off more than on making lack of AC less an issue. The white one at Matt Johnson is a stunning car. Agree the Matt Johnson car is perfect spec for a Spyder. The 18-way adaptive seats are perfect for long distance Euro trips.

Perhaps compiling a list of must haves might help your search??https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
Mine were 64 litre tank - a free option
918's - super comfy once you get used to them
Digital Radio
Bi-Zenon's - fantastic lights
PCM with Sat Nav (A back up to the phone for touring)
Reversing Camera - very poor visibility out the back
Two-Zone Climate Control
Leather Steering wheel - more practical in a convertible

No idea about the adaptive 18-way seats but the 918 seats have a height adjustment button and apparently do sit lower than the folding bucket sports seats which don't have this feature. So the sports bucket seats sit higher than the standard sports and sports plus seats?, I would have thought they would allow you to sink in at a lower level.

I'm interested to see how I get on with the folding buckets. I had 918's on GT4 which I thought were great, if a touch upright. I've went for folding buckets on Spyder this time as I wanted seat heating. From all accounts, I reckon they are both great seats with a few differences which create the debate and personal preference.
The older folding buckets suit the shorter driver as they sit fractionally higher than the newer fixed buckets the latter of which are height adjustable.
The other point with the folding buckets is that they are slightly more reclined although spacers are available to slightly recline the fixed buckets too.
But the major difference between the seats is that there is more shoulder width but less hip width with the folding buckets compared to the fixed and this fact imo could well be the deciding factor depending on your body shape as to which is the best seat for you.
Having said the above, I would not touch a convertible without heated seats so if the comfort seats are discarded there really is only one option.

I would not say the folding are for shorter people either, the 918 are in fact more better for shorter people as you can also raise them pretty high. The other point with the folding buckets is that they are slightly more reclined although spacers are available to slightly recline the fixed buckets too.

Mr ave fits in the folding no issue, if you are tall or short then the 918 style are a good option, but not a very nice seat so it's a bit of give and take.
No one likes to be slammed in a seat, I find that a bit chavvy and also makes it so you cannot see the front wings or rest you arm on the window sill !!
An odd trend normally found in euro events and on VDubs lol where you can only just see the drivers head !!
I would say if you are 5.6 to 5.11 the foldings are pretty perfect height wise, if you want to see that apex.
I have found in my Golf I upped the bucket seat height rather than my past older days of slamming it to the bottom.
