Mr Demon agrees, wow!
Yes, but this'll get him going. He's told me off before for giving out this advice:Unless you never ever drive in the countryside after dark, or you only ever drive very, very slowly: you should buy a car with bi-xenon lights.
I know. I drive my 987 with and the GF's 987 without bi-xenon lights, every week. The difference is more than noticeable; it's huge.

As I live down some long dark NSL country roads, I agree completely.Unless you never ever drive in the countryside after dark, or you only ever drive very, very slowly: you should buy a car with bi-xenon lights.

The standard lights are a bit poor in this regard.
A Porsche with xenon's would be a must have for me now.
I would never tell any one off for wanting xenons, I love them, standard Porsche lights are crap, I have some of the new ultra bright bulbs going in as we speak to try and combat the poor light.
Only pointless on your garage queen summer car :-) I never use the lights on the Spyder as it only comes out in the summer and it' s light till 10pm. So to that end it is just extra weight with levellers , washers etc.
Very hard to find a cayman R with every thing you want, ESP if you 100% want full leather which I did.
Along with buckets, Spyder. Wheels, PSE and of course manual.

We're those as standard? I remember reading a thread where someone said a "perfect" CS popped up... wondering what the general consensus is on what's "perfect" as I'll probably only have the car a year or so
PSE not standard. Obvious to say but the tighter your list, the harder it is to find hence my short list. I could not go without AC, Sport Chrono, auto dim mirrors (on any car that sits low as every SUV blinds you on dip) but it depends how you use it. I ripped out the radio on mine and the dealer thought I was mad. It was the standard head unit. It was rubbish and I actually needed the storage space because with the aluminium doors, you don't get door bins and there is only a tiny cubby hole in front of the gear stick and the centre console (which is fine for about 5 coins and a stick of gum.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
