Leaking roof or door?

Try thoroughly inspecting the foam catch trays under the hood. I was getting a lot of water under my seat from a hole right in the front corner of mine (Google part number 98656180503 / 98656180603 to see the affected part).

The foam of these trays is very fragile and I think mine was damaged when the hood actuator ball joint failed and the rod poked through it.

It was a roof off job to replace and required carpets out to get them dry but thankfully it seems ok now.

Also consider that it may still just simply be the water that's remaining in the foam. This is effectively a massive sponge and can only be effectively dried out fully by removing it completely, which means taking the carpet out - not a straightforward job.
